I was going to limit it to 5, but couldn't. I think Ballack, Mikel, Ferreira, Kalou and Bridge would be in with a shout as well. Oh and Kakuta/Sinclair/Sahar too ;)

Carlo (no offense, but it'd be a crying shame to keep him on the bench for most of the season - send him home to Lazio, their keepers a dinosaur), Bridge, Maka, Kalou - second choice

Depends how good they are and if they understand that to end you're career at a top club and to carry on for as long as possible you may need to take a bit of a back seat, there are very few players that understand that.
