  2. Incredible that a top manager thinks the right thing to do after scoring a goal is to go fully defensive and deep, tuck in the wide players, then sub them for defenders and basically just completely concede the pitch an ball to the current world champions. Hes not the genius some think he is, hes an average coach whos unable to build an attack and completely relies on just being a tight 9 defending.

  4. I dont like saying I told you so in these circumstances...but I f**king told you so. Hes an incredible negative coach, he is more interested in not losing than winning, has no idea how to actually set up an attack and completely relies on solidity and deep defense. Everyone could see from the Cape Verde and Egypt games that Argentina cant handle pace running at them, they had 2 cb`s on yellow cards and we were all over them out wide. So after we score what does the tactical genius too, pull everyone deep, bring the wide players in side to cover midfield, then take them off for defenders. We had zero outlets, if we did get the ball then there was literally no one up field to get the ball to, the argies were wide open to counters with some pace, like say a Gordon type player, oh wait, hes been subbed for f**king Konsa. Hes a fraud of a manager living on digging a CL win out with Chelsea by doing exactly the same thing he tried last night and v Mexico and Norway. Nick a goal, scrap to the end.

  8. We are still not a top level team. When we meet a top team we get knocked out, it has been this way for a while. Argentina controlled most of the game, they were the better team. Semi finals would have been both the minimum requirement for me and a good achievement before the tournament began its difficult because there is a tendency to get carried away and believe we can win it. Tuchels tactics served us well v Croatia, Mexico and Norway but alas it would have needed something special to stop the Argentinians who have swept aside a two goal deficit v Egypt for fun last week. The experts in the studio led by the exaggerated and somewhat theatrical behaviour of Micah Ricahards knew in hindsight what Tuchel should have done, as always, but truth is we were second best. The Argentinians overwhelmed us, it was like men against boys, at a time of their choosing. Football didnt come home and it probably won't for a while yet. hey ho.

  13. And the Man City team we beat in my opinion was better than this Argentina team. It’s difficult to compare national and club teams but I he came up against a better team in 2021 but he also had better players in the right position You can’t use Rice and Anderson as a midfield two to defend a 1-0 lead.
  14. I think it was him saying "i can't hear your racist chanting, louder please fellow Argies. I also hope the mother of my children hears me this time when i tell her i want to abandon her and my children again now i've made it because i'm a spineless little shrimp that isn't worthy of the oxygen i breathe." Or at least thats how i interpreted it.
  15. What's with his goal celebration? It's a pretty annoying one. No doubt him winning another world cup would make him looking down on Chelsea but the positive is he's going to garner solid interest. I forgot whether he already had a contract improvement ala palmer/jackson/caicedo, if not then it's going to boost his exit. The board totally overpaid for him so to cancel such transfer is the appropriate thing to do. His replacement shouldn't be too hard to find.

  19. Today

  20. "It's the middle of the goal!" 🤣
  21. Just when I thought england might do it under the best manager they have in decades, it's still the same old story. First half seemed evenly contested, after the goal, england just park the bus. Another example why I said best defence is not by relinquishing possession inviting all sorts of pressure especially when the stake is at high, it's double the pressure. Did tuchel worry about the solorth-haland gap scenario? I suppose it's better to concede playing that way rather than what has unfolded. Btw, england's cross were dogsh*t compared to argentina's, not taking trent seems like a mistake now.
  22. Hope you’re right, no WC semi goal is pulling the wool over the eyes I use week in and week out. Horrible little sh*t had to score last night. Hope it eases him out the door.
  23. I have no idea what Bellinghan's reaction means, it could be anything between 'what a great goal' to 'what a poxy goalie'.
  24. We need to know who these idiots are so they can be named and shamed. How can this football club get literally every thing they do wrong?
  25. Do you have Bellinghams similar stats by any chance. Whilst I agree that we played into their hands I also think that from our attack, Bellingham, Kane, Rogers and to an extent Rice offered very little all game.
  26. Its all about him isn't it. He's such a fking idiot.
  27. There wasn’t a suitable ‘out ball’ player for England after Gordon was subbed. The initiative was handed to Argentina and they took it. Pickford made a couple of really good saves all and credit to him for that. Just my humble opinion.
  28. You can't know that. One of the most common injuries with quick muscle growth is muscle tears. Why would he get a hamstring injury just because he played 2 games back to back? You think it's weird for a player at 18 years of age to play 2 games in a row?
  29. Also if he had whacked Anderson in the back of the head like that while wearing a Chelsea shirt he would have seen red.
  30. Pretty sure fans of other Premier League teams are saying the same about their Argentinian players. At least with his World Cup showing we might get a better price for him now. I can't see him coming back and playing for us next season.
  31. It got nothing to do with bulk up. He was not ready for pl. He got hammy issue in training, he got hammy issue the moment he was given back to back games. All of these are normal stuff.
  32. Tuchel's game management today was hard to fathom. I thought he had done pretty well with subs most of the tournament but today was a total disaster. Starting with bringing off Gordon who was our most effective attacker and replacing with Konsa. That gave Argentine the green light to bring on more attackers and siege the England penalty area with inevitable results. It was also pretty clear by then that Rice and James needed subs yet he waited until the 82nd minute and then brought on 2 more defenders, playing one (O'Reilly) out of position in midfield. Our defense looked increasingly confused and overrun leading to gaps and chances. It was all so predictable. Then to cap it all we end the game hoofing long balls hopefully up to Dan Burn as we tried to score late on. Pathetic. It was so bad from Tuchel I wouldn't be surprised if he was paid off.
  33. Without a doubt, lots of awesome & amazing news!!! ⚽👍💙
  34. Because the sporting directors are sh*t and the owners are even sh*ttier. The young players they target are mostly sh*t.
  35. World class, yet he always disappears for us and had us finishing 10th. If he was world class, why can't he get us into the top 4? I genuinely would love to hear the excuses as to why he always disappears for us and leaves massive holes in our midfield, why he always gives away cheap possession from being too slow or making poor passes. He scores one goal and it's like the rest of his performance gets ignored. Most importantly, why is nobody bidding high for this world class player? Also, that goal was not world class. Those shots have been Pickford's weakness for years.
