People are saying it was a good debut. I don't think so. He was rather poor by mata standards. Key stats to note; he gave the ball away more than any other united player on the pitch and failed to make one tackle, interception or clearance. Easy to see why He doesn't fit the Jose glove.

This is taking suspiciously long. David Moyes also walked out of a press conference when the conversation turned to Mata. United are claiming they never made an official bid - apparently intermediaries have acted for them. All the while, no word from our club. This whole thing reeks. The more I think about it, the more I can't help thinking how Mata will not fit in to the current United squad - Maybe he has changed his mind and wants to fight for his place here? United already have Kagawa/Rooney/Januzaj who can play in the No. 10 role. We all know Mata can't play on the wing. If Mata is in the squad then they basically HAVE TO either play RVP or Rooney, I can't see how they will play all 3 in the same team. This is a very stupid panic buy from United in my opinion, 37M could of gone a long way to strengthening there real problems.
