It's actually 9 in 18 playing for a team that is having the most horrendous season and playing in front of a dog awful midfield. Do you realise that in 2011/2012 season Balotelli had the highest goals per minute ratio out of every striker in the league, including Aguero? 93 minutes per goal and a conversion rate of 25% (also higher than Aguero). He is an incredible talent and if we could get him for around 20m, he would be a bargain. Would much rather he was with us than one of our rivals. Edit; also 12 goals in 12 games for Milan in the serie A last season.

I doubt this is likely to happen but there have been plenty of swap deals in the past. Galas/cole, matic/Luiz, ibra/Eto'o just to name a few notable ones. I think we will see more now as well as it would appear to benefit clubs FFP.

Works so hard off the ball, reminds of Robben in the way he chases down opponents when we don't have the ball. Also seems like a humble bloke too and not an arsehole. His creative side needs work but is growing and getting better with every game. Fast becoming a fan favourite

Taking a striker off who has just scored and is playing well for a midfielder would be a master piece? When our strikers are short on goals/confidence as it is? I think not.

I thought we had a good half. Look solid at the back. Definitely the better team, hope those missed chances don't come back to haunt us.

I am starting to see sense in Azpi being played at left back. Right now, he is better than Cole defensively and offensively. Is he better than Ivanovic? Offensively, probably. Defensively, would be tough to call. Is Ivanovic better than Cole defensively/offensively - Yes, probably. Since Azpi is capable of playing left back, I think it's the most logical and strongest decision.

Never before have I seen a Chelsea fan so utterly delusional about how good one of our players is and what he brings to the team. I have no idea where you get the misconception that Ramires "can't pass". You do realize that he has the highest pass completion rate in our midfield - 86%. The highest in the premier league is only 89% and that is from Yaya Toure. He also completes more passes than everyone in the team apart from John Terry, with an average of 48 passes per 90 minutes. In comparison, Gaurin has a pass completion rate of 73% and only manages 34 passes per games. As for interception/tackles, Ramires has made 53 succesful tackles and 18 interceptions this season in 16 apps. Gaurin has made 28 tackles and 16 interceptions in the same amount of games. As for shooting? Gaurin has made 52 shots and scored 3 goals. Ramires 25 shots and scored 1 goal. We are all aware that Ramires shooting is not the best. But he doesn't get the opportunity to shoot as much because he is played alongside Lampard in the majority of league games as a holding midfielder and naturally it is Lampard who is released to go forward, not Ramires. Are you are one of those people who seems to think that a midfielder is only valuable to the team if he scores/assists? What Ramires brings to the team is invaluable, he breaks down play, makes important tackles/interceptions, and drives the team forward. He is our little machine that works his ass off in every game. Next time Chelsea play, please just spend the 90 minutes paying close attention to Rami and you will quickly learn why this forum has an "army of Ramires fans".

He would not be an improvement on Ramires. And he is arguably the most important player in our squad right now, so how you can talk him down as a Chelsea fan I'll never know

Was actually a tweet I read from a Chelsea Transfer page that grabs the headlines from most papers. Would take him in a heartbeat though regardless of reputation. Costa is the second highest goal scorer in La Liga and only 25, he would be a real prospect. I just hope we don't lose Courtois as part of any deal.

More links floating about in regards to Atleticos Diego Costa. Apparently he has a 32m release clause. I think he is the real deal, we should raise money from Kdb/Moses and buy him ASAP. Him and Gaurin would be enough to see us through to summer
