I hope Nando is back in the squad for West Ham. He will have fire in his belly after another set back to what has been his best season for us yet. Eto'o played well Saturday but regardless, it is Nando's 'turn'.

Need to drop Lamps and play Oscar deeper or Luiz further up the field. He just hasn't got the legs for the role. Need more consistency from Hazard and I actually think we are really missing Torres at the moment. Eto'o played really well but I don't think he is much of a physical presence up top which is you need when your playing a lone striker in front of a small creative midfield. Ivanovic makes really great runs but he cannot for the f**king life of him make a decent pass at the end of it. It's time to Let dave show what he can do going forward. Torres in, Mata for Oscar, Oscar deeper, Azpi more attacking play and I think we will see a vast improvement.

Luiz has real qualities but not as a CB. His biggest weakness is positional awareness and lack of concentration, two qualities that are probably the most important for a top CB. What does Luiz do best? Interceptions, tackles, chasing down opposition, long balls to the front man and direct balls to the final third. He has everything that a good DM should have, including a dangerous shot and free kick when needed. Luiz can still be the player we all want him to be but he needs to be moved further up the field.

Schurrle wasn't amazing today. I like the sound of Willian/mata/hazard to start on Saturday.

Willian had a really good second half. Dave was solid at the back. Starting to like Cahill and JT at the back we are much much much better off defensively than we are with Luiz.

Oscar has been prolific for us this season though. Especially in Europe.

A little worried as it's the month which cannot be named, however, i fully expect a reaction from 'that' performance. A strong performance today and against Brom and we are back on track. Anything else and there will be cause for concern. Gutted we are going to have to sit and wait for Torres for another two games. I'm one of the few faithful expecting him to start firing on all cylinders for us but as always it seems to be one step forward two steps back with Nando.

Future Chelsea captain my arse. Barca would of payed 45mil we should of laughed our way to the bank. I vigorously stood up for SFL on this very forum recently but he did noting to warrant his place today, but then again no one really did either. When we are unlucky I can accept a loss, but it's so hard to take when we are played off the f**king pitch. Someone get me a cider.....

At least were not paying library prices. Found this regarding this seasons premier league ticket prices, pretty interesting. Can't believe Man City fans can pick up a season ticket for £299, incredible. Who in there right mind would pay £1900 to watch the y*ds!!!!!

So many people losing faith in SFL. Was fantastic for us last season when we needed him most, and is clearly viewed by Jose as one of his on-field generals, still a brilliant free kick and penalty taker. Jose isn't stupid he knows he's not a spring chicken anymore but he isn't about to drop one of his most trusted for being a little off the pace in a few games.

I kind of feel like we already had our 'bad period'. Losing to Basel, Everton, drawing with Tottenham at 3 point lane. You can see Jose's ideas are getting through to the team and we are getting stronger with every game. If (and its a very big if) Torres can really keep up his form I think we will be unstoppable in the league and real challengers for European glory.

Lampard or Essien was my biggest question too. When Essien plays as solid as he did tonight I think him and Ramires could really form a solid partnership, essien covering the back four to release ramires when needed. I like Schurrle and his directness but I just feel that when we are attacking mata really offers so much more than schurrle, to a point that I could forgive him for anything he might lack defensively.

I'm not one to start these kind of threads normally as they can be quite annoying but I am genuinely intrigued to hear people's opinion on what our current best eleven is, baring in mind that the team you pick has to be a team that would adapt a Jose style of play. Would you include Mata? David Luiz or Cahill? Which, if any, of our new AMs would make the cut? Naturally some people will want to pick different teams for different opposition so for the sake of argument lets say it's against a tough opponent, a well balanced (defensively and offensively) team in a champions league final. Anyone else refreshing bbc sports/twitter like a mad man trying to get the line-up for tonight?! Trying to predict what line-up Jose will put out is becoming a bit of a game I like to play before every match now. So far, I have been wrong every time
