I don't read to much into these articles as for every 100 that say he is leaving, there is another 100 articles stating he won't. However, that post does make a debatable / mostly infuriating point that hasn't really discussed yet (or at least, I haven't read it anywhere before). United are adamant they will not put themselves in the same position." A shift in dynamic was when we bought Torres? In the 7 seasons prior to that transfer I'm pretty sure Liverpool only managed to beat Chelsea once in the premier league, with Liverpool not winning the title once in these 7 seasons and Chelsea winning the title three times. And that fatal day we bought Torres was the "shift in dynamic" between us and the Scouse? .......Who comes up with this stuff?!?!

This doesn't really prove much. Torres played against Real Madrid for one, Ba did not. And both other strikers had a full tour under there belt by that point where as Torres was just returning to training. The toss up between Lukaku and Torres will probably be debated all season but for me both strikers should always start ahead of Ba. Ba just doesn't offer anything outside of the box, if we are going to off-load anyone it should definitely be him.

If Hull play a 352 against us it'll be a massacre. Under Jose we counter so quick, they won't know what hit them. Cech Ivanovic - Terry - Cahill - Cole MvG - Ramires KDB - Oscar - Hazard Lukaku I'm not sure who will play No. 10 out of KDB and Oscar... I think i'd prefer Oscar to play no. 10 personally. Hope we can secure a lead early and then look to rest some players for Villa/United.

The Hazard/De Bruyne/Lukaku link up could really become something special. Hazard and KDB are already connecting really well, you can tell they know each others games inside out.

Betting odds are based on what people think will happen. Betting prices "coming right in" are almost always the direct result of what people have been reading in the media - the bookies love it. So many people bet on Falcao joining Chelsea in the January transfer window this season that bookies slashed the odds to 1/14 at one point, did it mean anything in the end? No.

Worth noting Chelsea/Villa are playing twice in the first game week and you can sub two without losing any points before game week 3 starts (the game week we/Villa won't have a game).

Not a bad performance. They had a very strong team out and I think we missed Mata and Luiz in particular tonight. Defense was poor in places, gave Madrid so much time on the edge of the box to do what they do best. Midfield gave the ball away a bit cheap at times too. Hazard was f**king immense again tonight against some of the best opposition around. The more I watch him play the more excited I get.

I just wanna reiterate that David Luiz did actually pick up an injury and Jose has shown that he simply will not risk injuring his players at any cost in pre-season - this includes day-to-day training. This is the sole reason Luiz did not train with the rest of the group today and will miss the game against Real Madrid, please do not read into the media bullsh*t that he is missing the game tonight for other reasons (e.g. Barca bid).
