Jose's Key Objective...
This. We have some fantastic young talent coming through that with the right management and more importantly stability, we could possibly be the dominant force in Britain and maybe even Europe for years to come. I'm sick of trying to buy the premier league each year. Lets build a team for the future not just for a season.

The Frank Lampard goal scoring record thread
Happy birthday Frank have a good one! Speaking of records, if Jose gives Frank the start against Hull he has a chance to beat Alan Shearers record of most goals scored in opening day of the season. Frank has 7, Shearer has 8.

Torres - The "Groundhog Day" Thread
I won't be surprised if we don't sign another striker. And Lukaku/Torres would start over Ba, for me anyway.

Is Rooney worth a punt?
This was "Roman Emperors" last thread in this forum. http://www.theshedend.com/topic/23199-4-signings-with-the-green-light/?view=findpost&p=624137

If we had to lose either Mata or Luiz...
Oh God. Someone call the mods.

FIFA Confederations Cup 2013 - Brazil
Omeruo and Mikel starting for Nigeria.

Everything that Mata's
I wouldn't say he looked "out of place". He looked lively from the moment he came on the pitch. I guess the difference was the majority of the midfield were not out to impress Del Tossque, where as Mata and Soldado are fighting for starting positions.

FIFA Confederations Cup 2013 - Brazil
Just as I would expect a Chelsea fan not to support a manager who constantly overlooks our best player for international duty and doesn't give him the playing time he deserves. Mata > Pedro, Fabregas. Like I said, Del Bosque is too much of an ignorant f**king moron to play anyone who doesn't reside in La Liga.

With Real Madrid and Spain. Real Madrid 'let him go' and he was also sacked by Besiktas within 12 months.

FIFA Confederations Cup 2013 - Brazil
Del Bosque is such a moron. I honestly think he doesn't watch any football outside of Spain.

FIFA Confederations Cup 2013 - Brazil
No Dave/Mata/Torres starting. I think Mata might get a second half though. Cavani starting up top with Saurez.

The Frank Lampard goal scoring record thread
Just heard big Frank will be on "Sunday Brunch" next Sunday on channel 4, 12pm. Thought I'd share in case anyone else is having Chelsea post-season withdrawal symptoms and need a bit of Frank in there lives...

Transfer Odds according to Eurosport
Odds are based on what punters think will happen, which is obviously driven by what's in the media. I remember seeing Falcao at 1/33 to sign to Chelsea in the January 2012/2013 transfer window. I suppose its quite interesting to look at how the rumour mill is turning for other teams but for me personally, as a Chelsea fan, this is kind of useless information.

Cavani-Torres swap deal
Uruguay and Spain are in the confederations cup until the 30th June. Mourihno will not speak to Torres until he is back, he said so himself. Cavani has also clearly stated his future will not be decided until after the tournament. I would bet my house that we will hear nothing *official* of this transfer or any possible Torres transfer until after the tournament. Anything else is just mindless silly season media drool.

Mourinho -Press Conference 10/06/13
Jose Mourinho on the future of Chelsea's young players such as Kevin De Bruyne and Romelu Lukaku: "I want to meet them. I think it fair that the players the first one to know about the future and that future. "Chelsea invested a lot in the players - it's my job to extract the best out of that investment. Both players are ready to come and be a part of our squad

Mourinho -Press Conference 10/06/13
I think we can safely say Lukaku and De Bruyne will be in the team next season. ............. SO EXCITED RIGHT NOW

Cavani-Torres swap deal
Lets for argument sake called him Jim. Jim scored 24 goals in 53 games for a team that came 3rd in the Barclays English Premier Leaue and won the Europa cup, as well as two semi-finals in other competitions. Jim is also the top scorer for said team. Is Jim still valued at 5mil?

Cavani-Torres swap deal
Torres was woeful this season do not get me wrong but I'm not going to sit there and listen to some idiot value him at 5mil. That's ridiculous.
