The thing that annoyed me in that game was that the ref was far too easily influenced by their players on every decision. Whe Ramires made the challenge ( it was awful and it was worthy of a red but) the ref was only going to give a free kick until the Villa player ran up to him and shouted "he stood on his leg" etc. Plus the Willian one was laughably soft. Crap ref.

Probably time to close these mata threads. He's gone, it's time to move forward. Just remember we still have Hazard, Willian, Oscar etc

You may have heard that they have gone into administration and the club has been told that it has no funds whatsoever and needs about £700,000 before the start of the season to stay alive. Or AVB. The amount we paid for him and the way he turned the club to sh*t so quickly. Granted he started the run in the CL and FA cup but it was RDM that finished which AVB could never have done. He did bring in Mata though :)

Rooney's career is over in England. He's gone into a more midfield position anyway. We need a game changer and game winner like a RVP, Suarez etc. Lewandowski or Falcao would be perfect.

It's a shame Newcastle got Sissoko. He looks like the exact player we need. A box to box CDM that can defend and attack well. Like a strong Ramires.

Yeah, I saw that. I was like "what the hell is he doing". Even when Terry and Lampard were lifting the trophy he tried to grab it. Was it not him and Bosingwa that ruined the trophy lifting of the UCL last year?

Yeah, I didn't say he was good. I said I'm not sure. But if you look at his touch, ball control and even power in his shot he does show something. We wouldn't have signed him on a 5 year contract for nothing. Those highlights are only from 2 games. That's a lot of highlights for one player over two games don't you think?

I think the way the defense is now is ok. Before we were leaking goals but now we've tightened up. We don't want to go forcing new tactics on players when it might not work. Look what happened to Man city when they did that.

Lukaku was £18million so I'd Imagine he's bound to be set for the first team. Chalobah looks class and just what we need in midfield. Feruz looks quick and deadly but being ST he might have competition. Apart from them I think the others will find it difficult maybe with the exception of de bruyne

Fair point. He'd get more game time in the championship though and a chance to score more goals. It would be good for confidence as well.

Yeah, I've seen a bit a video of him playing when he was 14 and for that age he looked amazing. I'd say a loan to the championship would do him good. Don't want to send him to a prem team yet because he'll just get snapped by the likes of Shawcross.

And he's Scottish ;)

He's been great. Cheap, and young so he has time to develop.
