Torres - The "Groundhog Day" Thread
So lets say Drogba did the same thing. Or Van Persie. Or Cavani. Wouldn't you say it's expected? But torres...weak opposition. I guarantee, for the former, nothing would be discussed other than the four goals. The rest of the performance would not be a talking point. But the fact that its torres and he's an easy target for media and fans...We try to find a negative in anything he does. I can see if it was another teams striker, but a Chelsea player? It's like blind hatred for a person for no reason. Lest not forget, whether we like it or not, he's STILL a Chelsea player. If he does do well under Jose, what then?

More English players in the Chelsea team
Each country has its "star" on the international level that play pretty well with their countrymen. England on the other hand is in shambles. Cant play together on te international level. Cant play at the same club. Until the FA gets its act together...the less English the better a team will be.

4 goals against Tahiti. Any top class striker - business as usual When torres does it - weak opposition Unfairly criticized.

José Mourinho Confirmed as Chelsea Manager!
i akin jose mourinho to phil jackson (legendary nba coach - 11 championships). he's got this aura about him. able to handle big egos. a big ego himself...but a tactical genius/madman. look at the press going mad about him coming back to the prem. what separates jose from the peps, fergies....is he brings success to wherever he goes. pep is unproven away from barca. fergie built a dynasty at man u. who's to say how they will or would've done away from their comfortable surroundings. the league needs him. we need him. man u dynasty is done and gone. pressure to replicate what fergie down will be the downfall of every manager here after. it's time for a new dawn. a new reign. chelsea fc. kings of england. rulers of europe. dominators of the world.

Thank You Mr Roman Abramovich
You'd think negotiations between any other owner/manager would go on for days. But this.. Jose: do you want me to come back? Roman: do you want to come back? Deal done. It's what's called fate.

José Mourinho Confirmed as Chelsea Manager!
What got me is the interview was not wanting to splash cash right away but words like Hard work. Stability. Passion. Love. Development. Training. All things said point to him wanting to truly build a dynasty. A much different Jose. Mature. His collection of experiences have developed "him" and has now brought him back to the club he truly ever loved. A manager that passionate about a club and wanting it to succeed is dangerous..... For the rest of the league.
