Soldado only scored 24 league goals but that's a good point. Mata is better than Silva yet Silva generally starts. All Spain's attacking options are better than Torres yet he usually starts. It's no suprise that when Spain needed a goal against Italy they took off their only striker and they actually looked more threatening after that.

We'll get much more than 10 Million for a player only just reaching his peak (in theory) who had won trophies galour at club level and is a established international. I'd say we should be looking at 15-20 personally.

I can't see Jose wanting Torres next season I'd imagine he'd be behind Lukaku and Ba in this plans as well as any potential transfer targets. As he scored over 20 goals last season I'd imagine we could con another club into taking him for a decent portion of the fee we payed which is probably the best we can hope for.
