Err, in the last 400 threads on the 'non-football forum' there doesn't appear to be a single 'top 10' thread. Not a one. Same goes for the 'football' forum. Not a single 'top 10' list in the last 375. The thread wasn't about, 'how many top ten lists there are' or not. its about thank f**k football's back.

Why be disappointed to see him go? Over the last year or so when has Robben come on to the pitch and actually changed a game? When has he really show the skills we know he has to consistent effect? Many of us say the team will miss him dreadfully due to his obvious talent but in comparison to the likes of Drogba, Cech, Terry, Carvalho, Essien - would we really? If they were injured as often as Robben was how much weaker would we be then? I would suggest that Robben's absences have not had that much of a detrimental effect as we like to believe. remember last season when he came on as a sub and scored two goals in about 15 mins?? supersubbyrobben Another thing i would like to point out is that robben creates many goals. he is pretty sh*t at shooting tbh, but he is a great playmaker. shevchenko scored most of his goals from robben. i think? anybody know a good stats site??

Was I the only one who thought that Glen struggled?? Whenever he was on the ball under pressure, he looked as if he was out of options and panicking, usually giving the ball away by playing a hospital. The complete opposite of Essien (relaxed on the ball, doesnt panic etc), when he was playing at RB. Maybe he was too nervous? I read that Man U targeted him the whole game, and the goal did come from his side...
