LOL, Mourinho doesn't develop young talent. He uses them cause he has to. Lukaku is a very raw player, with physical attributes many can only dream of having. We play with one CF formation, so I really don't understand how he is going to get playing time next season. Look at Daniel, he definitely should of gotten more games for Chelsea, however didn't and Daniel is better than Lukaku.....

He somehow surpasses Ba and Torres. when as another poster mentioned how he couldn't even start for West brom if it wasn't for peter odemwingie selfishness..... I really don't know how we are going to have Cavani, Lukaku, Torres and Ba all on first team. One or two of them have to get dropped. Also, Im surprised you guys are already claiming Lukaku is already better than Ba. What exactly is he better than Ba in except his age and pure physical body?

Lampard is a AM, SS, not a CM. He should never play CM unless its 4-3-3, his best attributes are incredible shot accuracy/technique/power and good awareness in the box. I have no clue why he is playing in the 2 CM positions, however, I can see Mourinho giving him a few games in the hole position next season.

What is young considered these days? Also, if anything both De Gea and the gk from Germany has more praised than Courtois. On a side note, I kind of wish he was loaned out to a BPL team so he could get accustomed to the league and it's tactics.

How is Hart vs Cech really that far off? I can understand the old Cech being far superior to Hart, however, the 2012 one the comparison with Hart is really not that far-fetched.

Kompany was injured all throughout last season. He is one of the big reasons why Man City were not able to repeat winning the league. Also, last season Tevez didn't play until towards the end of the season when Silva's play dropped considerable and nasri hasn't been as effective as his Arsenal days (since he's playing in the wings a lot these days.

It does make sense. Teves is the second striker for Man City and plays mostly in the middle advance position while SIlva and nasir are technically suppose to be on the wings. If man City does change their formation to 4-2-3-1, we can than decide if Mata >Silva, until than think about how well Mata played for Chelsea on the wings...

Anyways, we need to add more players onto the squad this season to overtake city for the league. Unless they underperform again this season.

Well, let's take a look. Who on City actually performed to their potential/better last season? Tevez, their young CB, Zabo, Maybe clichy, and Toure. Also, I said "outright better," who is outright better on our team? Torres/Ba vs Aguero/Dzeko Mata/oscar/HAzard/Moses/Schurrle vs Tevez/Silva/Nasri/Navas Lamps/Rambo/Mikel/Romeu vs Fernandinho/Toure/Garcia/Barry Cole/Dave vs Clichy/Zabs Terry/Luiz/Cahill/Ivan vs Kompany/young cb/Richards Cech vs Hart.. I can't really see where Chelsea has an outright advantage in terms of quality.

English teams play longball football except Man City, Arsenal, Swansea and maybe Liverpool now.... I don't mind "direct football", however, I am really sick of how we don't play any balls through the CMs and have Cech play longballs to the three amigos +Torres.
