Not too keen. However he's essentially an improvement on Salah and is left footed. Maybe that's the reason why Jose is buying him, for the sake of balance. Not sure if he's sees Willian having problems at RW -- might use Cuadrado (first) and Douglas Costa there, then will use Oscar+Willian for the AM spot and Hazard for LW. Possibly Schurrle for LW as backup if he stays this window. Remy an option too.

Not minding too much now. Cuadrado is an out and out winger so would be quite useful to have on the right

Nah mate they really aren't weaker. If anything, they've actually improved overall. It'll be tough regardless. Really shouldn't underestimate them tbh although I'd prefer them to Bayern/Real. Barca similar.

Would've prefered more of a 4-3-3 with Ramires / Oscar being deployed as BBMs. Midfield of Fabregas as a #10 + Mikel/Matic is far too slow paced. It was pretty hard to press for 90mins when Fab isn't very good at defending (albeit better than he has been in the past), whilst having two DMs which aren't very fast themselves. Ivan caught out too much with Willian having to cover; not sure what it'll take (bar an injury) for Mourinho to play Azpi in his right position with Luis on the other one. As a result of some of the decisions, we see a lethargic performance -- when we went to 1-0 think we should've gone for it more instead of preserving a lead like we often do. Something like this would work fine vs Stoke City but not vs a team like Liverpool away who have face-paced players and more direct in their play, as well as the players who are able to put in good passes, defense-splitting or not. Think we could've got the win (0-2 maybe) if we approached it differently. We should still be fine for the second leg, but now they have a little bit of confidence of them going in.

Good result for us. Arsenal played pretty well, with city being quite poor. Strange to go for Fernando and fernandinho I thought. Former hasn't really been great for them; think a midfield of Milner/Fernandinho would work better when without Touré.

well, he likes to score a few goals here and there so decent I guess.
