  1. The most tedious saga this window.
  2. If Gordon does join, I think it's almost guaranteed Gilmour will go the other way and perhaps Batshuayi
  3. Paul Joyce confirmed the bid. He is about as reliable as they come re. Everton and Liverpool.
  4. Dont think the agent loses out. Player gives up his loyalty bonus yes, but can then make it back via his new club paying him the difference in a signing on fee. This deal needs to happen soon-ish though, otherwise if we leave it too late for Leicester to replace, they'll just reject full stop. Still think it might need Fofana to hand in an official TR though.
  5. Seriously why does anyone listen to a word Nathan Gissing says on twitter. He is the biggest waffler and bandwagon jumper on there! Always reports his info once someone else does first. He's about as ITK as me
  6. Nothing really, i think they just dont want it being leaked/confirmed until the Colwill part is signed off. I dont think any other club would have done it, maybe its just a Brighton thing. the agreement for Cucurella is also dependant on Colwill, its obvious despite it not being a "swap" per se So as far as Brighton are concerned the deal isnt agreed, until Colwill part is sorted..
  7. I'll tell you something now, if we end this window with Sterling. Koulibaly Cucurella Fofana FdJ Aubameyang as first team additions, that's a solid window. Although i dont see FdJ or Auba happening... even Fofana tbh.... much as id like it
  8. I think this deal is done, both clubs know it is done but neither club wanted it leaked yet as there is a joint transaction linked to it, Colwill. So I'd suspect Brighton's tweet is a little bit of a white lie, to.. Once his deal is sewn up, then you'll see a pretty quick double announcement from both clubs. cue the hijack 😄 Nah in all seriousness, I'd be shocked if he isnt ours by end of the week
  9. Boehly and Eghbali both arrived, I dont think this is just to sell 2 players tbh. Laporta, Alemany, Cruyff have now arrived aswell
  10. Good signing and he is going to do well here. Quote me on that. I predict that he could well be closely followed by Ake. dont see de Ligt happening, tbh
  11. Scaremongering, and sale will be fine
  12. How the f**k can any player in the modern era think City are a big club and not Chelsea. He must have as many brain cells as City have CL's We were in the CL when City were battling in the first division as it was back then
  13. I dont think he will be as good as he was/is for Dortmund. Honestly. And yes, I'd still take Salah over him
  14. This now hopefully means we can at least get some f**king momentum in contracts, renewals and summer plans. I think a potentially huge summer is upon us, Strange the statement did not mention Jonathan Goldstein, whereas Boehly, Wyss and Walter were. Has he dropped out?
  15. first team investment is a given though, that is arguably going to be where most investment will actually be made. Anti Glazer clause also stops Wyss and Clearlake sucking money out.
  16. Finish line tomorrow, Boehly is in
  17. Not sure myself although id have never expected him to accept a private equity firm coming in; but latest statement is a big f**k you to the journos "Has not asked for debt to be repaid to him" also "did not up the price at the last minute"
  18. 😁 I like Jacobs as he never seems to show his agenda sh*te, like some other journos have during this saga.
  19. Doesnt his period to gain exclusivity run out tomorrow? Surely he has signed the agreement by now ffs... otherwise every f**ker else is back in the race tomorrow I like Ben Jacobs, but im not sure he is quite as in the loop as he is making out, tbh. I just find it strange how his info always follows other reports, and comes out after them
  20. Sir Jim has large financial links to the Tories, theyll happily oblige to his requests Interesting article in the Times tonight as well, headline being Chelsea have declined to give bidders for the club detailed information about who would receive the £1.6 billion loan that Roman Abramovich wants to be repaid to a Jersey-based company. Starting to get messy again
  21. My bet is Roman would pick Ratcliffe. Given the choice
  22. Yep, exactly. Todd or Jim is the correct outcome from all this. Probably Todd, but i cant shake the feeling that Ratcliffe isnt going away
  23. I wouldnt bank on it. All of us are guessing, even journos
  24. Something underhand has happened IMO, yes. The timing of it all just sticks out. If i woke up to see Boehly or Ratcliffe announced, neither would surprise me. Likelihood is Raine picked Boehly, but ratcliffe's bid, on paper, suits Roman better in perhaps more ways than one. And its now essentially down to him
  25. Most likely, but that was just me throwing sh*t seeing if it sticks, suspect there is something being cooked up though. He has pals in the govt. Its why he will get vetted instantly and fly through due dilligence, which is the reason talk of his bid not being able to be done in time is rubbish Soon as i read he had bid one day after speaking to buck and the govt, i instantly thought "hes been told to bid"
