I believe that's the key here... Of course we have enough wingers to create situations for strikers to turn into goals, but Berbatov really can do both (in one and the same game) - create and score. Most forwards have either 'scoring' or 'assisting' days/games and that's what makes Berbatov different and a valuable player.

Yes, Jose would and he was doing it. But Grant? He was a little mouse, not a lion like Jose. That's why players feel like they have to defend themselves. It's a different story that it's futile and only JT is authorized to do it should it come to that.
