At the time i was running between two rooms to see the tele and to talk in match chat, i didn't see how it started but all i saw was vidic and rio shoving everyone around so can someone tell me what happend?

Basically the ball was kicked out of play by Chelsea when we had possesion because a player was injured, but Manure didnt give the ball back they just hit it out of play deep in the Chelsea half, then Tevez summoned his team mates to push up and pressure Chelsea deep in the Chelsea half, it was the way Tevez (cheating argy scum) turned our possesion into Manure advantage that incensed the Chelsea players and caused a bit of handbags, then Drogba slapped (tapped) Vidic?? in the face for some stupid reason.

It was Drogbas own fault, but very dirty of Tevez and typical of an argy !

The entire incident was sparked by Utd (Tevez) not playing the ball back to us after we'd put the ball out for an injury.

Then it all kicked off with Ballack throwing his weight around, and Drogba slapping Vidic. Pathetic.

It was pathetic. Man Utd are a band of young and stupid. Our players are more seasoned, better travelled, and should JUST KNOW BETTER.

Im sick of these frigging handbags everytime there is a problem and JT or Maka coming in and settle everyone down. Competing is one thing, but leave the slap fighting to the 22 years olds and play like men.

Time for Didier to leave. He is a world class player, but he has the mind of a child, and his pathetic slap tonight was one of many, many times when he has embarrassed himself. Unfortunately for all of us, this incident had an impact on the whole team, and was part of our downfall.

I agree. It doesn't matter how good a player Drogba is. I've tried to defend him on occasions, saying he's no worse than plenty of other players. Well maybe so. Sometimes. But what happened tonight was just pathetic. I can't think of a single thing that actually endears him to the fans. He scores goals, but goals on their own don't make a legend - even if he'd scored more than you know who this season. For anyone who doesn't remember how much we missed him when he was at the ANC, the answer is: not a lot.

we haven't really changed since he came back. I was outraged when he saw the red card and thought "why!?" well dumba** it could be for the fact that you hit Vidic in the face!!! And also Terry had to come over and pry (i think hargreaves or evra) from punching drogba. Where was Ferdinand?

If your gonna get a red in that moment, i would have walked over to Ronaldo and broke his ankles, but that's just me i guess.

I think a lot of posts are being a little too harsh on Drogba!
Why? He let down his team in the most important moment of the season, if not his entire carrer. And did it for his own ego.

How? By a flick in a guys face to get a sending off at the end of the game. He was unhappy with Manyoos antics, and let the stupid side of his game show. That's all?

Without Drogba, we wouldn't have even been there tonight, who would have scored all those goals to get us through? Sheva? Anelka? Sidwell?

I know where people are coming from, but saying all this crazy stuff about Drogba is a little overboard.

We'll never know...

I think both players performances this season tells us.
You are judging performance of player, how gracefully he sits on a bench?

Riise?!

YESS BUT SHEVCHENKO .ANELKA DONT PLAY EVERY MATCH 90 MIN LIKE DROGBA

DONT FORGET THAT

Of course not, I think Anelka is a great striker that needs a run of games.
May be, but he is not a good substitute (too slow from markers). Sheva would be more efficient as substitute and on penalties.

Funny but I disagree strongly.

I'm more inclined to blame Vidic and Tevez, the mongoloid c**t, rather than one of our own players.

But that's probably just me.

Supporting Chelsea rather than United.

I don't agree Anelka is slow, though I agree Sheva is an efficient substitute for sure. The other week when he was back and cleared off the line, makes some good runs (I think in the same game) that pushed us forward again.

My main point being, Drogba lost his cool, it happens! Having a vendetta against the guy is pure pointless, and lacking memory.

Defo Tevez acted like the cheating inbred argy he is. But he didnt lift DD's hand to slap Vidic.

If he was on the pitch after ET Terry would have been #6 on the penalty list and thus maybe not required.

His antics over the seasons have caught up with him as far as the media and referees go, they wont take his sh*t no more.
