  1. If we smash the dippers a new one at Binfield, it might just do City a favour if they pull their finger out.
  2. Mike Dean and the linesmen played made the difference for Sunderland. Can MOTM be applied in plural on such special occasions? Dont want to leave any of them out.
  3. "Too well written" is the perfect way of putting it. Since it appears we are all but out of it now, I will be cheering on City for the remainder of their matches aswell. I would rather them win it as they are more deserving and won their games on their own merit instead of play acting to the ref (bar Jovetics theatrical swan dive in the cup, but that's the cup). It'll be the lesser of two evils seeing them crowned and it would be highly satisfying seeing Gerrard retire without a Prem medal.

I played a whole evening of various online modes pretty much when I got it and didn't get a single good match. Either the opposition pulled the score a goal/piggie in the middle technique or rage quit once I went a goal or two up. I stick to career mode in small doses. Better for morale.
  5. I was optimistic going into todays match but it'll take nothing short of a miracle to get back into the title race now. Also even if the highly unlikely happens and Diverpool and City fluff the next games, who's to say we won't conveniently be handed another demolition team in the guise of match officials? What's next? Foy at Anfield?

Yeah, that's why I don't bother with the online. Can't be bothered playing against kids who don't know how to play a proper game. If you can't play properly, then you shouldn't play at all. That's my opinion on it.
  7. Personally, at this very moment, I couldn't give a toss if Ramires never dons a Chelsea shirt ever again. Schwarzer too. The pair of them can f**k off in the summer. They will not be missed. Bring in Darlow since we're likely to be without Courtois next season and sell Ramires to the highest bidder, if anybody is stupid enough to buy him.
  8. This game has really solidified my belief that key decisions are being awarded to nudge Liverpool towards a title win this season or to nudge Chelsea away from the title. Looking at some of the events that have unfolded in the last couple of months, it would seem to support it. I mean, where on earth did this sudden surge from Liverpool come from? Coincidence that they started getting a tonne of pens going their way? As I have said before, it is abnormal and I have never seen anything like it before, for a team to suddenly come out of nowhere during the closing stages the way they have. Then when you look at the Villa game. Another important match for us, being given a referee who is proven to be anti Chelsea and unable to withstand home fan pressure at an away match. We all know how that unfolded. Then to be handed a ref who was pulled from a match because of affiliation with Liverpool at a pivotal match which could decide ours and Liverpools title bid, then to be victim to another slew of bad decisions, not only from the ref but the linesmen too? This goes high up within the FA in my opinion. One ref can have a poor match, that can happen. But a whole team of linesmen too? Makes you wonder what instructions they were given prior to the match. I find it very hard to swallow the fact that an entire team of officials can have an off day on the same match twice during important fixtures. I do have some other thoughts but I'll keep those to myself but the bottom line is, we have been screwed heavily this season. I'm not saying our team has played great during those games either. I knew we were in for a dreaw at best when i saw Schwarzer and Ramires on the team sheet. Schwarzer couldn't stop a beach ball from going into a five a side goal. But never for a second should we have lost today. I just hope we do the business in the Champions League, because I don't think the FA are going to allow us to win the league this term. A sad fact, but true and I stand by this.
  9. I couldn't watch any more with that prick Redknapp flapping his lips. I don't normally hate pundits, but when it comes to Redknapp... total w**ker. I hope we do go for it against Atletico. Regardless of the toilet result today, I bought a Chelsea/Atletico friendship scarf from the Megastore to show support for our CL cause. Hopefully since the FA w**kers aren't involved in the officiating of this tournament, we'll actually have a shot. Take from that last sentence what you will.
  10. Yep. I'm starting to see how very ordinary Oscar is now. Maybe we should swap him for Modric. Schwarzer should definitely get his P45 in the summer too.
  11. Well that explains why it works on my tablet then. Learn something new every day.
  12. I want Ramires gone at the end of the season. What a stupid boy!!!
  13. I don't know what they are either if I'm honest. The buffer bar indicates it may be an embedded video. So vindicating to watch this. What a mighty smash it was too. Couldn't have happened to a nicer c**t.
  14. I almost celebrated this news like a Chelsea victory. Check this out. Fantastic!!!! Just a shame it didn't launch him off his feet. http://weaintgotnohistory.sbnation.com/2014/4/19/5630858/chris-foy-hit-in-the-face-with-a-football
  15. This face will haunt my worst nightmares for all eternity. That grin is damn terrifying.
  16. I would rather Lamps be kept on as a back up player whilst he gets his badges to be honest. His performances haven't been great lately and I can't see them improving either. I would hate to see him fade like this.
  17. Hahaha this made me laugh. A group of them were also sitting in a tattoo parlour whilst one of them had a wolf tattooed on their arm (probably trying to look edgy) and guess what they were talking about.... You guessed it, relationships. Then one threw a "dinner party" so they could sit round a oversized table talking about relationships. What a load of dross. Oh no, that show is awful. My mates missus subjects us to that crap when we have poker nights. Always the same crap. A bunch of snidey back stabby people trying to behave posh whilst serving crap food. Always ends up with a Barney between at least two of em because they want to look big and clever. I remember one bitch of a woman on it actually putting a paper bag over another contestants head citing it as a vast improvement. Amazing how willing people are to make a horses arse of themselves not only in public but on the television for a measly grand.
  18. Personally I think its a bit disappointing that there club are looking to cut his pay. His contributions on the pitch haven't been on the decline and he has been absolutely incredible this season. So at the very least he should be earning the same pay. I (along with everything other true fan of this club) really value John Terrys commitment to the Blues. Wouldn't have had his name set printed on the back of shirts otherwise. He is one of the finest examples of when homegrown talent does good.
  19. But this could lead to overconfidence on Liverpool's part. Norwich are going to definitely be well aware of the threat of Suarez, so I can see them playing a tight back line to try and hold them. Maybe even park a bus or two to try and hold out for a draw. If they nullify the threat of Liverpool coming forward, it leaves them wide open for a counter attack, which could be incredibly damaging. I would love to see this scenario play out. Norwich holding them nil nil in the first half, leading to frustration from Liverpool, which leads to mistakes early on in the second half where Norwich catches them cold with a counter attack leaving them with no option but to send on Sturridge, who aggravates his injury ruling him out for next week. Then Norwich resorting to parking buses for the remainder of the match. This could be where the inexperience of upper table life kicks in. Knee jerk reflex actions like bringing on a recovering Sturridge out of frustration and ultimately paying for it with having him out for the remainder of the season. Could be an ideal scenario if it plays out. Think of how how much pressure and panic that would be running through the Liverpool camp if they lost out to Norwich. Hardly a good mindset for them to go into our match with them. Also our first leg against AM could be a factor. If we get a good result, that would have us in a confident and dangerous mindset to face the dippers.

Oh yes, that sounds familiar. Making a nice counter run down the middle, then having the entire back 4 descend upon you once you reach the final third only to find nobody is running with you. Or you run down the flank, reach the byline and by the time you've waited for your team mates to make the run down the centre for the cross, half then opposing team has backtracked killing the move. Sometimes a low cross will reach the mark unless the defence is littered with midgets, which is rare unless you're playing an Italian team, who are naturally prone to high crosses. Lol.

With me, the offside calls are quite often very wrong. The worst is when you pass to a player who is onside but get flagged because the CPU places one random player who isn't even part of the move and hasn't even had a touch like a cm offside. So annoying. The general placement of players on your own team is abysmal. You still get instances where you'll do a run which fails only for the defender to bicycle kick it all the way from their box to yours and after a few in game minutes, you pass forward to find your striker from the previous move only JUST running back but still wildly offside. Team mates AI is shocking considering how much practice EA has had in making FIFA games. Also, how many incredibly anal decisions do you get? Decisions where upon watching the replay, the two offside indicator lines are on top of each other, so they look like one line. Not many officials who could spot such a minute offside and get it right. Its ridiculous. I think a good way of them doing offside calls would be to gauge the accuracy by ref/linesmen positioning and give them a field of vision. So if you commit a fowl right near an official, it gets written up proper but if you do it a distance from one, mistakes can be made. Would be more realistic than having Robocop officiating. As for free kicks, they're a pain in the ass. I still have yet to score one as I can't deal with the system. There is no choice to pick out a player, so its a case of aiming roughly in the area and hope you get the right amount of power. Curve appears to be luck based. Sounds horrible. The officiating in 14 is some of the worst I have seen in any sporting game.
  22. I know right? I have absolutely no idea why it even made it through screening. I mean, its not as if the average Brit can relate to it on any level. The level of snobbery on display is unreal.I had some female company the other night, who spent the night and whilst flicking through channels she noticed this damn show was about to start and insisted on watching it. Despite my protests, she grabbed the remote. After a few minutes, I zoned out, until I heard this pompous bloke with some real over the top snobby accent complaining about people jogging near the precious area where he does his shopping. He used the word "ghastly" to describe people that do it, claiming how they sweat all over everybody and offend them with the sight of their hideous clothes sweaty hair and how he didn't want to be touched by them. How can anybody watch that crap? I wanted to go to sleep, but its hard to do in the presence of company after a few drinks and a bit of a lob on so had to sit through the entirety of the damn thing. Its mostly overpriviliged trust fund kids gossiping and being pretentious! I never thought such a show would take off in England! I feel like my IQ has dropped after watching it. Ever since, I've found myself occasionally pausing in mid conversation struggling to think of words I wanted to use and I am sure its related lol. Mind you there really isn't much decent programming on Freeview. With the cost of a television license and the number of channels on it, you'd think they would bother filling them with something decent! Besides MOTD, the occasional football match and the odd comedy sitcom, not much interests me on it.
  23. Liverpool have momentum, but what happens when you make a mistake whilst cruising at high speed? Tremendous car crash with lots of damage. I can see Liverpool doing this. So focused on the table, dealing with pressure they're not used to, plus the expectations of the fans and the nobhead media outlets. I see a very tight game but a Liverpool collapse. I hope it happens too. I want to see Liverpool supporters break down in tears whilst their title bid collapses before them, and Stevie "on the spot" Gerrard retire without a champions medal.
  24. Pretty much all I wanted really was some decent websites that carry reliable Chelsea news but disappointingly I just got attempted humour. I was actually hoping that folks would be a bit more helpful, but never mind.
