  1. Personally I am incredibly disappointed in these comments from Robben. Whilst I don't use the word "we" when discussing Munich like i do with the Blues, i do follow them and last nights defeat to Real was bitter to watch. I was hoping for the Chelsea/Bayern rematch in the final. There are clearly sour grapes there judging by Robbens comments. I get the fact that it was probably a Madrid hangover, but he should have just kept his mouth shut.
  2. With all due respect, I already spent the night looking at other possible travel solutions before declining the ticket but the fact of the matter is, I have responsibilities at home and a few things that need taking care of before I can even leave the house. No matter what route I take overground, its going to cause a further delay which would cause me to miss the entire first half of the match. Switching services etc is just a pain in the arse aswell. Fuming doesn't even cover it. I have no means of watching tonights match at all. Thank you very much TFL and thanks to the drivers for once again "having the publics interests at heart". In case its unnoticed, I've layered on more sarcasm than Jose's after match press conference against Sunderland in that last paragraph.
  3. Same. They couldn't give a damn about those who rely on the services. Just interested in improving their pay packet and work life. Public transport strikes are essentially blackmail, without a doubt. They bring the capital to a standstill in many ways and cause economic damage. Because of these striking dipsticks I'm stuck at home on a match night whilst my brother was forced to give his spare ticket to someone who is just tagging along for the f**k of it, the boyfriend of one of his Mrs' mates, a bloke who is not even interested in football. So one less voice in the audience aswell. To all those going though, cheer long and loud for the lads, we need this. Enjoy the atmos folks. By the way, WeatherMan, I would hardly call my view extreme. Just a taxpayer who is fed up of tax subsidised services being halted when I need them. Especially when the fares are increased every year with no improvements made to them.
  4. Couldn't help myself. Was offered a golden ticket to quite possibly the biggest match of the season to date and can't go due to bloody public transport strikes. Just pissed me off for a bit is all. All calm now though and wondering where I can catch a live stream tommorow night.
  5. Either way, Cech should not be risked. I've dislocated and separated shoulders before. They do not heal this quickly. When I dislocated my shoulder, it was bruised, tender and stiff for weeks after. It would be an insult for us to field an understrength Cech in place of a fully fit Schwarzer, who has played fantastic in his last two games.
  6. My thoughts exactly. Hardly a shining advert for London is it. Still going to be a nightmare for fans getting there. Was offered a ticket by my brother, but cannot even get to the ground until near the end of the first half because my routes are so messed up. So pointless going, no more Sky Sports either so reduced to watching the BBC live scores page. I hate the lazy c**ts in this country.
  7. Yep. But when big egos pop, its a long long way back down to earth. It will be hilarious to see the title slip through Brendan's fingers and I sincerely hope Palace does them on Monday week. I suddenly wouldn't feel so bad about losing to them if they went and completely derailed Liverpool.
  8. I still remember having to walk 15 miles home from a footie match one time due to a sodding tube strike. Still fuming about it now and this is going back a few years.
  9. Or when the employers actually see how many folks with better attitudes are out there, eager to work, come to their senses, sack and replace the striking workforce. End of the day, if there is work to do and folks are refusing to do their bit, they would be sacked in any other circumstances...
  10. Exactly, if Veolia made football fans....
  11. f**kin hate strikes and the prick who organises them. All because someone is suddenly unhappy with the terms of their contract of employment, they selfishly inconvenience others and cripple the capital instead of seeking alternative employment. Its the adult equivalent of throwing the toys out of the pram and having a hissy fit.
  12. I would much rather have Schwarzer in goal for the next leg. Cech isn't a hundred percent obviously and it would be unfair to the team, the fans and himself if he was to start. Plus, in my opinion, Schwarzer has earned this start. He has proper changed my outlook on him.
  13. Exactly. Rodgers can go shake one off for all I care. my respect for the bloke is now in the minus figures. I hope he winds up like Moyes next season.
  14. Bob on mate. I think of the worst three incidents involving English clubs and Liverpool supporters are in the thick of it for two of them. Then the third one, their fans start singing and joking about it at matches.Bunch of morbid sick f**ks. But we all know that while Riley gets his directors box seat and has power, Liverpool won't face anything. So much needs to change in the EPL, its a joke. What makes me laugh about Liverpool is they preach about the Hillsborough 96. I totally agree. There was a cover up. There needs to be justice, but Liverpool supporters were responsible for Heysel but they quickly change the subject when that's brought up don't they. Furthermore, it was Liverpool supporters who joked about the terrible Munich disaster, yet they are rightfully sensitive about their 96. Nobody should joke about either of the three incidents. But Liverpool are guilty of that one. How ironic huh. Bottom line, if your club can't be respectful about the loss of life, not a club to be proud of in my opinion.
  15. Exactly. They had the chance but no they've shown how toothless they are on it.. Poor move.
  16. Well said. Then maybe we should join the other clubs instead of screwing ourselves over the principles of a bunch of spineless, powerless hypocrites.
  17. Alright then. Maybe Roman should dust off his cheque book for the summer... Seriously, screw playing to a different set of rules to them when they don't even get punished for it.
  18. Wow, spitting at children? Really? f**k sake. Spitting at folk is a disgusting thing to do anyway, but at kids? Goes to show just how despicable they really are. Having looked at the pics again, someone above is right. No old bill anywhere. Literally every football game I have been to (both home and away) there has been heavy police presence between opposing sets of fans. None at our end of Binfield. There should definitely be some questions asked there, and how did the Liverpool supporters manage to get to our gates so quickly unless they were spoiling for trouble? Maybe the FA should start flexing their muscles toward the scousers for a change. Fan safety is an important issue. Especially in such a crucial match.
  19. Simple really, I would rather Chelsea do the EPL/CL double than see Stevie Me raise the EPL trophy. However, I would not begrudge Man City winning the EPL. As much as I think Pellegrini is a mouthy little prick, his team would deserve it more than us or Liverpool if they do it.
  20. f**kin animals. Always the victims. If the roles were reversed, Chelsea would be sanctioned. But because its the dippers, they get a free pass.
  21. Wouldn't it be bloody hilarious if the dippers and City both bottle it on the final day of the season and we wind up getting crowned at the end of the Cardiff game? Would be a mental end to an insane season.
  22. Today proved it. Seeing Jose running down the touchline pounding his chest shouting Chelsea.... That was his answer to these awful rumours. He is as blue as they come and that man has my complete faith!!
  23. Hahahahaha they only play the history card because a vast majority of their success happened before most of their current supporters were born. As for terrible fans, I consider it an absolute embarrassment for England as a country to have Liverpool as a geographical location attached to it, let alone the grotty little toerags who support their football club. I have said it before, I look forward to the day they lose the title and when it actually dawns on them that they blew their best opportunity for another 30 odd years. Haha y'know what.... this is how I hope it goes down. - We decimate Norwich City (nothing personal against the canaries) - City stuff Everton - Palace pull one over on Liverpool and secure a last minute victory - City lose to Villa giving us the edge - We crush Cardiff - Newcastle pull off a surprise victory against Liverpool And City comfortably stuff that bar steward fat Sams Hammers to secure second place, leaving the scousers miserably placed at third with sour grapes.
  24. Could not have said it any better. I find it utterly hilarious how Liverpool supporters are now saying how they hope we get eliminated from the CL on Wednesday. Shows just how moronic they are. May the Binfield trophy cabinet gather dust for many more years.
  25. Today has shown exactly how much of a classless prick Brendan Rodgers is. Watching his interview is going to make Liverpool's title loss even sweeter when it happens. The interviewer who spoke to Frank should be sacked too. What a pleb.
