Why even bother with this thread?

Its bad enough there are various Jose and United threads you could have fired this sh*t in but to creat a new one and actually believe the guff in it is cringe.

Shame on you kid.

ok.

1. I am new to this board and had a look around to see if there was already a thread to post in. I didn't find one, because I do not know the geography of this board yet. Where are they? Rumours seemed a sensible area to post. That has to be what this is. And it's not sh*t, it what is in some of the papers, so the RUMOUR exists, and is a reasonable point of discussion.

2. I don't believe this "guff". I was looking for a Chelsea perspective.

So no shame. A genuine look around the board failed to find the topic. So I started this. Perfectly reasonable. I will learn the geography in time.

By the way, you guys were great in Spain.

Sunderland have a forum?

Who knew?!

Cheeky

It's a pretty good one. We like to regard ourselves as the acceptable face of the North East. As opposed to our pantomime neighbours a mile or two north.

The ALS/SMB seems to win lots of awards for its quality, and is usually a pretty good read.  Apart from the occasion pie munching, gravy stained barcodes that slither onto it from time to time.

F**king Martin Samuel even tried this is his column! Saying that our boards inability to sign him a world class striker has caused tension between them. Prick!

You cannot fault him for the dream-like quality of his life. Most of the tension in that area will come from the weight he places on his chair.

Utd fans are so arrogant, its like

"How can anyone not want to manage man utd?"

"He is so miserable because Utd turned him down."

"He would love to come to Utd"

"He has always wanted the job flirted with us for years"

Its cringe worthy stuff im glad our fans are not arrogant.

You really do have to love it. Although TBF, he probably represents the views of a significant proportion of man. U fans. But you would know that better than me because lots of them will be your neighbours  .

There's no way he'd want to be reunited with his arch nemesis Juan Mata.

Spot on.

I reckon that this press suggestion was inevitable, but it speaks volumes for the nauseating quality of the so called journalists who write/wrote it.

Too idle to get off their substantial backsides and check to see what the real story is.

Why would a Chelsea manager in a (comparatively) stable position, at the start of a development project head for the Theatre of failure where the requirement is for SUCCESS today, right now at any cost, when he can continue to develop your squad in a sensible fashion?

I love the way that all the journos linking Jose with the Man U job are completely disregarding all the reasons he rejoined us like:

daughter at uni in London

house in London

unfinished business with Chelsea (CL win)

wanting to build a legacy

f**kers!

Why would Jose want to manage a team that's not in the CL next season!

Sounds right. Though I suppose the subject of money might come up. Personally I think he would be barmy. Especially with AF looking over his shoulder all the time.

True, most managers will struggle to get out from that shadow and most people could foresee that the manager that immediately followed Red Nose was going to be a failure and disliked but the fans

That's just for this page alone, the total members and guests for this site can be found on the home page I believe.

It's a smaller community on this site compared to the likes of RAWK and Red Cafe but the Shed End generally manages to avoid threads descending into a barrage of expletives and delusions of grandeur,

The view of a lot of people is/was that Man. U. need a complete rebuild and that is why AF hung up his mouth. However they this win the league last year so maybe a period og general improvement was also an opportunity. Certainly Moyes made a complete mess of whichever of those processes he was fumbling about with.

So for a new manager both options are still there - with perhaps disposals of eberton acquisitions.

But why on earth would JM (or any other competent manager) step into that mess? It just makes no sense.

There is the possibility of another enjoyable season for us all next year.

I used to visit when Roy Keane was your manager. Excellent forum, although you turned on Roy pretty viciously at the end.

Yes, I saw that (eventually) - you may have seen. I am one of the campaigners on SMB for civilised discussion. To be fair, temperatures and frustration are both high on there at present. Contributors think of the huge money spent, the massive support etc and then at the bunch of clowns masquerading as footballers at the SOL. tempers are frayed just now as you can imagine. But to be fair that is not typical.

We were all, for example astounded by our results at the Etihad and SB, And some shouters have emerged from the woodwork. I will be glad when they go back to school !!!

Agreed. It seems to be the way, in recent years and I really dislike it. when roy was appointed I was horrified because of his reputation. However, he did a really good job and I learned to admire his approach, until the final season (and he was awful then, and a little unbalanced), but there was little excuse for the vilification from too many posters.

I think he suffers from depression. When he grew the beard I had a feeling the end was nigh.
