  1. Oh dear, you really are a special kind of saddo. Knocking someone who supports the same club as you for wearing its colours, then having a pop at a persons sexuality based on their avatar, and then mocking said avatar because you can't understand it. Again, my own personal choice what I do with my avatar. I happened to like the close resemblance, so wanted to use it instead of being the same as others. But there ya go, you strike me as a bitter old man who gets his rocks off mocking others on internet forums. You post about the 80s like you were a young man back then, which puts you in quite an advanced bracket agewise. Sitting alone mocking others on the internet at your age.... That my friend is the pinnacle of pathetic. I'm not going to humour you anymore by responding to your remarks. So with that, I'm going to focus on the positive comments to get back on topic.
  2. Haha, so you now elect to attack my sexuality because you don't have a logical response to my post? Clear off pal. You're making a tit of yourself. And FYI, not that it matters, I'm not into men. Its actually a virtual rendering of my face on a video game.
  3. And now you're changing your argument, we're talking about patches? You were talking about shirts and lettering a minute ago. If you're gonna be a dick, at least be consistent.
  4. And before he twists my words, no, I'm not insinuating that you need to be wearing the clubs latest kits to be a true fan. I'm saying that anyone who mocks a supporter for showing support in a positive way is a bit odd....
  5. Not that its any of your business, but yes, I do have the sleeve patches too. Looks odd without them. Gullible.... You sound a right c**t mate, you clearly have a very warped view on what it means to show support for a club. Taking the piss out of people for wearing a shirt supporting a club you allegedly support... Again, where does a large chunk of the clubs revenue come from? Shirt sales, match tickets and TV rights. Shirt sales alone generate millions, which goes toward getting us the players we need and paying their wages. Just another old timer with a chip on his shoulder and a hideously warped idea on what it means to support a team. The usual reaction I get from Chelsea fans when wearing a shirt is positive. This guy ain't normal. Either that or he's more plastic than Katie Prices chest.
  6. If you don't buy shirts, that's your choice, but theres no need to be a c**t and start labelling people as pathetic for supporting the players and the club. What happens with the money from shirt sales? Goes to the club. Furthermore, its my hard earned money, so its my business what I do with it Now addressing that bellend is out of the way, getting Schürrle on the away shirt. Got Dave's full name on last seasons away top in the sale.
  7. Though, saying that, Torres did find the back of the net in Spain's last group stage game, hopefully he's had an epiphany and remembered how to play football.
  8. Non plussed. I wouldn't want him back after his little outbursts against Jose, a man who gave him an opportunity and a fine contract. But hey ho, we got Costa now and hopefully either Mandzukic, Rodriguez or Eminike on the way to bolster the line. Anything to keep Torres third in the pecking order, since we're apparently stuck with him another season at least.
  9. Looks like she's posing with the headpiece of an old fashioned electric chair over her hat.
  10. Going to wait and see who else we get before deciding who to get on the away shirt, but definitely getting Fabregas on my home shirt this season. Not getting the third shirt this year as it is anbsolutely beyond hideous.
  11. Dead Island was OK I suppose, but got well boring after a while. Didn't even bother with riptide as it was the same game but different faces from what I saw.Left 4 Dead 3 would be nice though. Was a fun game if you got into a lobby with the right people. When friends weren't online, mostly wound up with irritating kids who weren't even old enough to be playing and you'd wind up getting kicked for no reason despite being the only one not dying. I buy online adult rated games because I want to game with people my own age. Not babysit someones hyperactive twelve year old. Deus Ex!!! Awesome game. One thing I miss about my old 360. Only mqnaged one play through though as I was a busy musician at the time. Hope they do another one on current gen. Yes, yes, and yes. All 3 look excellent. On a sidenote, I went out and treated myself to the new UFC game. What a disappointment. The graphics are fantastic (not as good as the trailers though), but the controls are absolutely ridiculous. Blocking takedowns works once every ten attempts, which makes fights against submission artists or ground and pound specialists a pain in the backside, plus the submission system is crap. Career mode was boring too. Fight, watch a generic video of a fighter congratulating you, do 3 repetitive training exercises, rinse and repeat. No other options or imagination to it at all. At least the game face was better this year. That's where my avatar came from. They got my face and even my beard right. Even had sleeve tattoos that closely resemble mine, so that kept me going for a little bit at least. UFC Undisputed 3 was miles better in terms of gameplay.
  12. Well, we find out tommorow or Thursday as his agent will apparently enlighten us all as to his plans. Personally I hope they're blue. I don't give a damn what anyone says, he is class. He played well at the WC. Especially against Cameroon was it? That bullet of a header he scored. Could do with someone with aerial danger as opposed to having to rely on our full backs coming forward.
  13. You really are doom and gloom aren't ya. Did you actually bother to see his goal tally last season? His contributions up front led Atletico to pip not only Barca but Real Madrid (champions of Europe) to the La Liga title. Yes, he had a bad world cup, but so did many other big teams and big name players. The soaring temperature may have had something to do with it, plus having been practically rushed back from injury and the fact that his entire team played crap. If a striker doesn't have the service and isn't fully fit, you can't really expect much. Furthermore, the Spanish team tactics were piss poor and their manager is a first class idiot. I think Costa is exactly what we need, bullish and strong going forward. Not the kind of player who takes a dump in his pants every time he gets to the final third. I look forward to seeing him prove all the doubters wrong and have a solid debut season, the first of hopefully many in blue.
  14. Fair dues. Just seen a few topics with similar shoot downs and it kinda irritated me. I know Rooney is a sore subject but this is literally all I've heard about on twitter, Facebook and various news sources I read today so was mostly just seeing what's going on is all, and then I get nothing but negative unconstructiv sh*t remarks.
  15. Is it even worth having this section of the forum if most threads get shot down like this?
  16. Well, I've seen it on more than just this one page, so I think its worth discussing, but there ya go...
  17. Why? Its current and there seems to be some kind of validity in it. Just because the player or subject doesn't meet your satisfaction doesn't mean it shouldn't be discussed...
  18. I know Balotteli is a nutter. But I'd sooner have a goalscoring nutter than Rooney, who I reckon is past it. Though he is a natural centre forward by position which would have fit our system last season. Whether we keep that same shape remains to be seen.
  19. Well I thought it was worth discussing since it appears to be a hot topic today. Personally I don't think we should. Many more attractive options available. I'd sooner have Ballotelli or Mandzukic...
  20. This has been all over my newsfeeds today. . . not so sure what to think really. Is Van Baal really willing to let him go? Would he fit? http://www.squawka.com/news/chelsea-set-to-make-shock-40m-move-for-manchester-united-striker-wayne-rooney/125986
  21. And make no mistake about it, those two bans were deserved, if someone did that to one of our players, we would all be spitting feathers.
  22. Ramires was definitely a liability. One red card and a retrospective one at the end, which he's still banned for. Definitely would love to see the back of him and if we get Modric (albeit if we pay 10 mil on top as a sweetener) in return, we'll have the best midfield in the EPL.
  23. The Independent would immediately be taken to the toilet and kept on the shelf as back up toilet paper in this house. Gutter journalism at its worst. I expect nothing more from the vermin who write for that trash. He made me cringe too. Especially when he tossed Edgar Davids shin pads way behind him. That's something a child would do. Doing that on a charity event, how abhorrent.
  24. I say we should do it. Not only will it help us, but maybe use it as a way to introduce some younger players and see how they fare. Plus I think it'll be another nice touch helping a small club and shows that when Chelsea make a promise, they deliver. Would look bad on us if we go back on our word, albeit many years later. We have nothing to lose in giving them a match.
