I saw this on the EPG and switched it over to see what it was about... awful. Absolute garbage. Not seen so many pretentious self absorbed toffs in one place since my former career in banqueting. This is what we pay our television license for?

Anyone else seen it?

No wonder people abroad think we're snooty nose in the air types if this is what's being served on television networks.

Toffs is right I just saw an advert. I was in a pub in Putney Sunday surrounded by Toffs before the boat race really not my type of people. The rubbish on the tv is unreal

Yeah, they were but they were even worse. The snobbiness really shined through even more on that show. Ended up sticking a DVD on in the end.

You take that Mark Wright for instance from TOWIE, never done a days work in his life but he's absolutely loaded and has his own TV shows of going to USA and all over the world just doing nothing. I see absolutely nothing big and clevefr about them or their lifestyle. I just see a bunch of people who got lucky from their looks and connections. Fortunately, I haven't yet witnessed TOWIE or Geordie shore, and I intend for things to stay that way too.

I have seen it. Binky, great gal to look at and fun to listen to when you realise how cerebrally challenged she is.

You now need to catch TOWIE to complete the opposing pair.

Agreed, Mammon is worth watching and eagerly awaiting the second series of Les Revenants.

I'll agree, the girls are gorgeous, but there's nothing going on in their heads. Massive turn off.

I would rather watch paint dry than watch TOWIE. I fear watching the ads alone would make me dumber.

There is only one reason anybody should watch a show like this, and that is to take the piss out of it. I cannot think of many shows worse than this one. It's popularity shows just how many air heads live in this country.

I know right? I have absolutely no idea why it even made it through screening. I mean, its not as if the average Brit can relate to it on any level. The level of snobbery on display is unreal.

I had some female company the other night, who spent the night and whilst flicking through channels she noticed this damn show was about to start and insisted on watching it. Despite my protests, she grabbed the remote.

After a few minutes, I zoned out, until I heard this pompous bloke with some real over the top snobby accent complaining about people jogging near the precious area where he does his shopping. He used the word "ghastly" to describe people that do it, claiming how they sweat all over everybody and offend them with the sight of their hideous clothes sweaty hair and how he didn't want to be touched by them.

How can anybody watch that crap?

I wanted to go to sleep, but its hard to do in the presence of company after a few drinks and a bit of a lob on so had to sit through the entirety of the damn thing. Its mostly overpriviliged trust fund kids gossiping and being pretentious! I never thought such a show would take off in England!

I feel like my IQ has dropped after watching it. Ever since, I've found myself occasionally pausing in mid conversation struggling to think of words I wanted to use and I am sure its related lol.

Mind you there really isn't much decent programming on Freeview. With the cost of a television license and the number of channels on it, you'd think they would bother filling them with something decent! Besides MOTD, the occasional football match and the odd comedy sitcom, not much interests me on it.

I can't understand why our programme makers are commissioning these crap programmes.  On a cynical level it's because they are cheap to make compared to good drama and documentaries.  I have two friends who subject me to Come Dine With Me every time I visit them:  I find the thing panders to the most unpleasant aspects of human psyche, and at the same time I get cross with these friends for making me watch it - I have come to see THEM, not to share their ghastly voyeuristic tendencies!!

Then the first lot of people again at a night club talking about relationships. Then someone with massive glasses standing on a street corner talking about relationships.

Hahaha this made me laugh. A group of them were also sitting in a tattoo parlour whilst one of them had a wolf tattooed on their arm (probably trying to look edgy) and guess what they were talking about.... You guessed it, relationships. Then one threw a "dinner party" so they could sit round a oversized table talking about relationships.

What a load of dross.

Oh no, that show is awful. My mates missus subjects us to that crap when we have poker nights. Always the same crap. A bunch of snidey back stabby people trying to behave posh whilst serving crap food. Always ends up with a Barney between at least two of em because they want to look big and clever.

I remember one bitch of a woman on it actually putting a paper bag over another contestants head citing it as a vast improvement. Amazing how willing people are to make a horses arse of themselves not only in public but on the television for a measly grand.
