I never thought I'd see that on here!!! A tough game tomorrow no doubt but I think the management change will give the players a boost and coupled with the fact it's at home I'm backing us to get a win.

What are you basing this on given he never stays anywhere longer than about three years? Mourinho has had some bad results back to back before but never a complete drop in form like this and I fear we're seeing why he never stays anywhere for the long term. Normally I would say since he won the league give him the whole of this season to turn it around but I just don't think he's the man to do it and some of his antics with the press and on the touchline are just getting tedious.

We've a long way to go before we need to start looking at a change of manager but certainly some things will need to change. Firstly Mourinho needs to stop playing his 'favourites' week in week out.

After watching MOTD I wouldn't say I condone Costa's behaviour but it's no worse than any other player. To be fair at first I don't think any of the players do much wrong and yellow cards all round would have been fair enough but Gabriel stupidly committed another offence and left the referee with no choice. On the match, this could prove to be a massive three points with a very winnable match against Newcastle up next. It was good to see Hazard on the score sheet again albeit with a touch of fortune.

If I was stuck on a desert island with Michael Owen and a tin of corned beef, I'd eat Michael Owen and talk to the corned beef.

You should see the officials in Northern Ireland!!! The officials in England are light years ahead.

I have some mixed feeling ahead of this one though Wednesday's results have renewed my confidence. I'll say 2-0 Chelsea. KTBFFH!!!

I'm not feeling especially confident going into this one if I'm honest. If I was offered a point know I would take it.

In the nicest possible way I couldn't care less about United and Liverpool fighting for 4th place, do you think they would do the same for us? I hope Mourinho gives some of the fringe/youth players a game but I don't think he will.

Really looking forward to seeing us back in FA Cup competition as it's always been a competition I loved, the first football match I watched was our FA Cup final against Villa in 2000, I went for Chelsea that day and decided you can't change your team. It'll be interesting to see what changes, if any, Mourinho makes for this one.

It was a scrappy game with no players particularly standing out. In the end I've opted for Matic.

With City winning yesterday that puts all the pressure on us to get a result. A draw isn't going to cut it form me, this is a must win game imo.

Their full time footballers so should be able to play whenever the fixtures pan out. We have a squad of players for a reason, in Northern Ireland we used to have matches on Christmas Day and Boxing Day and the majority of our players are part time some even amateur. I can't phone my boss up and say that I can't work tomorrow because I'm too tired after working today. Far too much stock is read into kick off times imo but if the players weren't playing a match they'd likely be training and ask any player which one they'd rather be doing.

Very tough away game that's made even harder by City playing before us. I have to say I'm fairly nervous about this one as it's the sort of game we've thrown away points in in the past but if we can get a firm hold of the game from the start then I think we should have enough to see it through. With City unlikely to drop many, if any, points over the festive period we need to be winning our next few games, I'm not even sure a draw will do in any of our upcoming matches.

I'm trying not to take anything for granted regarding tomorrow's match as playing a newly promoted team early on in the season is always a potential banana skin and Leicester got a good draw against Everton but at Stamford Bridge I'd always back us to beat anyone and if we can get another win tomorrow that would be a more than satisfactory start to the season. KTBFFH

First game of the season tomorrow night then. We'll know more at the end of tomorrow's game but I'm feeling quite optimistic about the new season. Last season we had the best defence in the league and with the ssale of David Luiz arguably we look stronger in that area, we've managed to keep all our big midfield players and added Fabregas to that and up front, which was our weakest area last season we've added Costa, who I believe will score goals in the PL and Drogba will be a handy player to have on the bench. Here's hoping for three points tomorrow to get us off to a good start. KTBFFH

Hello everyone I'm new to the forums so thought I'd introduce myself. I've been supporting Chelsea since 2000 when I watched us play in the FA Cup Final against Aston Villa, I opted to go for Chelsea that day and you can't change your colours. For any trivia buff's you may remember this was the last FA Cup Final to be played at the Old Wembley Stadium and the winning goal was scored by Robbie Di Matteo. My favourite all time Chelsea player would have to be Frank Lampard but Gianfranco Zola would be a close second. I'm also an avid fan of my local team in Northern Ireland Lisburn Distillery, if your ever in the area on a match day you'll be made more than welcome at New Grosvenor Outside of football I'm currently studying Travel and Tourism Management at Coleraine University.
