  1. He has actually refused a pay rise and a four year contract in favour of a two year extension of his current one but with the same pay.
  2. Think it was Udinese he was at and yeah even at Barca he looked great at times but didn't get as much of a look in after their new signings. He hit the crossbar against us didn't he in the UCL. On a not so happy memory he went down like he'd been hit by a sniper after getting kneed by JT.
  3. At Madrid I always he thought he looked better than Benzema a lot of the games. But then once he was the main man at Napoli he hasn't shown an awful lot. Robben bottled it for most of his career and he got his hands on the champions league eventually. So maybe Higuain might have the same path..
  4. Stuck for choosing a keeper.. think I'll take Shay Given. And for my second I will take a player who I thought would go a lot sooner. Michael Owen.
  5. It saddens me to see him in an Arsenal kit

I'm not a pes fan but it felt more realistic to me. I still buy FIFA every year.
  7. Can't believe he f*cked up probably Argentina's last chance of winning silverware with the current generation of players. As one of the world's most coveted no.9's I really did expect to put away that penalty but he bottled it. On a side note how audacious was Sanchez's penalty. He was a player I think a lot of our fans regret missing out on. I Remember watching him live a couple of years ago. And was so impressed with his dribbling and pace. Even more so then I already was.
  8. There's another player who I'm very very surprised hasn't been picked yet. Would be a perfect fit for footballoholic as everyone else is fully stocked in that position.
  9. I'll take Lee Dixon. And DB himself. No not David Bentley but Beckham.

The good old days of being beloved Brazil or forever France on PES on PS2 were good times. Even if the names had been muddled up to avoid copyright. If I remember correctly the Holland team were Oranges001 and so on very annoying but still loved the game. The stadium names were random too but still replicas of stadiums in reality. The white stadium being the San Siro I think.
  11. Funny that even in the fifa 16 trailer he dribbles past someone then gets crunched by a tackle. They seem to think he's lightweight too by the looks of it.

The passing mechanics feel a lot more lifelike on PES in my opinion. But it can't count for much as I still buy FIFA every year. On PS2 I only ever bought PES but with the next gen consoles I stuck to FIFA which is a shame as after playing PES it feels like it has potential.
  13. Jonty: Henry, Cantona, Makelele, Rooney, Ballack, Schmeichel, Adams Teritus: Keane, Giggs, Ferdinand, Campbell, van Nistelrooy, Le Tissier, Petit footballoholic: Ronaldo, Hazard, Essien, Fabregas, Mascherano, Evra, Desailly Northern Monkey: Van Der Sar, Zola, Wise, J.F.Hasselbaink, Ivanovic, Azpilicueta, Leboeuf dan_cfc: Lampard, Vieira, Bergkamp, Bale, D. 14. I will have Vincent Kompany. Been off form past season or two but on his day really is a formidable defender. Second pick will be Robbie Fowler. Goals record speaks for itself.

PES is a footballer's game. Fifa is a game for those who like football. PES feels a lot more realistic in comparison to football in reality. Whereas FIFA is more fun but not as technical as PES.
  16. The cheap jump scares and goriness don't get to me either but like what you said it's all in what you don't see. The scariest films are by far the films that go down the spiritual route rather than a mad man with a chainsaw.
  17. Haha yeah I would be, let's see how the rest of the teams pan out. Good picks are starting to run out. My wingers could end up as Shaun Wright Phillips and Sinclair at this rate.

  19. I'll take the second best Ivorian to play in the premier league Yaya Toure. And my second pick will be the Argentinian Carlos Tevez. Btw very disappointed to see Slippy G picked haha.
  20. I quite enjoyed the series of films about the Annabelle doll. The Conjuring and Annabelle are very enjoyable if you're in to your horror films. I would recommend Shutter Island though in general. Great film with an amazing twist or two.
  21. Would you agree that the first one is on a whole other level to its sequels.
  22. Yeah I wouldn't know how to describe it exactly but there is something about her that screams annoying. It is a very good watch I might have to watch some of the early seasons again at some point.
  23. Turan is quality. Very skillful and combative. A mourinho type player. Admittedly his stats aren't jaw dropping but think of his role in the team. He can play in midfield, out wide and as a 10.
  24. The second one was just not scary. Something about a woman in a veil with a high pitched scream just not being terrifying in the slightest.
  25. Watched Dexter not long ago. Features on a serial killer who's working for the police and lives a double life. Quite gory but with substance to the story and plot.
