Following Our Nearest and Dearest Rivals, 2014-15
Markovic should really have put it on a plate for Sterling to make it 1-0. But take nothing away from the three wonderful goals Arsenal scored.

Raheem Sterling to Chelsea
I didn't get any of the arrogance that a lot speak of when referring to Sterling and his interview. He wants to win trophies and I don't resent him for that. Him turning down the 100k a week contract isn't an example of his greed but rather his determination to win silverware. He's young, English and very talented. Has a lot of potential like a lot of our players which if reached is a scary prospect.

Hazard v Zola
Closest thing to Zola that Chelsea had imo is Juan Mata.

Oscar - Little Diamond
I was one of those who when he first burst on to the scene he would be the next Kaka. He used to be a very good dribbler I don't doubt he still is but he isn't showing it at all. I thought Hazard wasn't a touch on this lad. If only he could show his early form again. That 12/13 season the trio of Hazard - Mata - Oscar was amazing. People forget what the influence of having a world class no.10 is like. All the boring Right back to Right winger passing we see that inevitably goes back to central midfield doesn't happen when someone who can genuinely understand what's happening is playing. Where Mata would drift wide in to those areas and pick up the ball. I've seen Hazard start to do this more and move out towards where the winger is and offer support. Oscar doesn't really do this. Maybe it's tactical amd Jose wants him to be aware as Fabregas is up the pitch and could get caught out or maybe he doesn't have the intelligence.

Cesc Fabregas
The whole team's playing sh*t not just Fabregas. And as a fan I'd rather see the passengers in the team booed than one of the players who wants to really take things into his own hands and be adventurous. It's inevitable when you try the risky passes etc that they won't always come off.

Chelsea vs Southampton (PL) 15/03/2015 KO: 13:30 GMT
It wasn't like we didn't have chances. We had so many chances to win the game. Could very easily have been 3 or even 4 - 1 to us. Quite disappointed tbh. After yesterday we should have won this game. i wouldn't judge Cuadrado on his 10 minute cameo but if I was to judge i'd say he was sh*t. But I'm not one to knee jerk and think he should get time. Oscar was poor. Had two chances to seal the game. Both straight at the keeper.

Chelsea vs Southampton (PL) 15/03/2015 KO: 13:30 GMT
There was a moment when I saw Ramires warming up and thought the sad thing is he's warming up for one of Willian or Oscar.

Chelsea vs Southampton (PL) 15/03/2015 KO: 13:30 GMT
Up until 10 minutes before the end of the half I didn't even know Oscar was playing. No urgency in anything and no desire. I see the back 5 esp Courtois and Azpi showing desire.

Patrick Bamford - should he get a chance?
I want to see Bamford lining up in Chelsea blue next season. This kid really can be our Harry Kane. How many of our loan players end up on the bench for their team getting 0 gametime and come back to Chelsea in a worse position then when they left. This lad is doing all we're asking of him gaining experience and proving he can play. I'm a big fan and I really hope he is given the opportunity to play.

Transfers Summer 2015
Fabregas shouldn't be playing next to Matic. Put Fabregas at #10 with maybe Koke 30-40m or Gundogan 20-30m. I don't see a need for a right winger at this moment in time as Cuadrado deserves a season and then we can assess how effective he is in that role. A centre-back is a purchase I feel we need as the youth products out on loan are hardly lighting up their respective leagues and JT is aging. What people don't understand is the reason we play so deep is in order to accommodate JT as his lack of pace means we can't play a high line as he will just get done for pace. Thta's why playing deeper allows him more time to position himself accordingly. But with the centre-backs playing deep it means the rest of them inevitably plays deeper reducing us to counter attacks which we seem to be awful at recently. Ins = Koke/Gundogan Varane/Laporte

Chelsea vs PSG (Champions League Second Leg) 11/03/2015
Outclassed is debatable but you don't score 2 goals with a man down against a team 5 points clears in arguably the best league in the world withput meriting it to some extent. Agreed their little tippy tappy passes are silly at times and they don't fool anyone. Fullbacks know Willian isn't going to run them and whip a cross in or run in to the box. He's gonna dummy and pass back to Ivanovic or Hazard runs across to be passed to amd he inevitably runs into the same position Willian was in. Even Stoke don't "play like stoke" anymore but here we are trying to walk across the line in a champions league tie. I really really hope we don't fluff the league now.

Chelsea vs PSG (Champions League Second Leg) 11/03/2015
Full of sh*t pundits are. Let's not take any notice of them. We weren't hard done by in this game so I'm not bitter at all. We were outplayed, outclassed and outstrengthed by PSG.

Chelsea vs PSG (Champions League Second Leg) 11/03/2015
Our strongest 11 available beaten at home by 10 men who lost their biggest threat 30 mins in to the game. Why was Costa played as a winger towards the latter stages? Maybe cos he's sh*t in the air and Ivanovic and Drogba were more of a threat. Well if that was the case then why not bring on Cuadrado or even Remy who are much more suited to playing as wide players.

Chelsea vs PSG (Champions League Second Leg) 11/03/2015
Well deserved win for the PSG players. We laughed at Arsenal getting d*cked by Monaco for complacency. Now we did it ourselves. It was horrible to see players strolling about. It's one of two things: 1) the players thought it was already our game after the red card 2) Or Jose has worn them out. I can recall seeing Matic huffing and puffing not even 3/4 through of the game. If it's the latter then that is poor management. Tbf PSG are getting a 180k bonus each for beating us.

Chelsea vs PSG (Champions League Second Leg) 11/03/2015
Do the refs like Verratti? They seem like they really don't want to book him. I think he's an absolute c*nt but I can't fault his desire for the team. Oscar has been ok this first half made some good interceptions/tackles. Hazard os always dangerous. That run by Costa was something Hazard would have been proud of shame that a blatant foul by Cavani wasn't picked up by the referee. If the counter argument is he didn't see it then I'm sorry he should be better positioned to see where Costa is running towards and who is near him. Erm the red card seemed quite harsh imo it looks like Oscar is studs up but does win the ball and Zlatan is just slightly late. Imo a 50/50 challenge.

The 1 year policy for over 30 year olds.
I think its a very reasonable policy. It works financially and is the most logical thing to do. We're a football club ultimately to make money and turnover a profit. Offering contracts based on sentiment wouldn't make sense in a game that revolves around money and especially with FFP it's great. Players like John Terry, Ivanovic and Drogba know that they're playing for a contract extension. It shows in their performances. It's amazing to hear a club legend like John Terry speak about playing well enough to hopefully get another extension. We're a club where equality is a huge thing and it's not fair for certain players to be offered 3 year plus contracts where they're at an age when they can suddenly decline at any point and injuries can catch up with them. Well that's my two cents on the contract policy.

Three Chelsea Players Make Ronaldinho's Dream XI
I know I don't disagree with your points, I just feel that as an ex Barcelona player who played with a Puyol in his prime he would have been inclined to pick him.

MLS 2015 thread.
The Real Madrid move was the nail in the coffin. A lot blame Mourinho for his sudden decline.

Random Rumours
http://hereisthecity.com/en-gb/2015/03/07/talented-chelsea-loanee-bertrand-traore-says-he-can-mix-it-with/page/1/ Seems to have the right mentality too and is willing to fight for a place in the team.

Random Rumours
Atsu and Salah seem to be two very similar players so can only see one of them if not none of the two making it here. However Bertrand Traore seems like he has something special can remember watching his preseason games a couple seasons ago and he really impressed me. Admittedly it was only pre season but for an I think 17 year old at the time it was pretty intriguing.

Spanish La Liga Thread
They went over 20 games unbeaten, think "nose dived" is hyperbole. I think the winter break stopped their momentum and the facr Ronaldo doesn't seem to be firing at the minute isn't helping at all. Bale's strike that hit the crossbar from a ridiculous distance was probably a reminder of the talent their team possesses.

Raphael Varane
Ramos and Pepe are the preferred pairing. Varane's getting gametime due to Ramos's injury.
