I noticed yesterday that Abramovich had landed in Moscow and I imagine Putin gave him his marching orders (from Chelsea). Hence today's announcement. In Russia the top oligarchs have to do what VP says and Abramovich reportedly looks after part of his fortune. All the other PL clubs are in the hands of oligarchs of one form or another. US private equity owners are probably the worst to have, then the UAE/Saudis. Let's hope he sells to someone at least half-decent. Anyway, the long-term model for football has to be something more along German lines with fan ownership. There really is too much money in the game, too much corruption and player salaries have to come down. I'm grateful for the last twenty years at Chelsea, it's been amazing, though I didn't always agree with the chopping and changing and we turned over too many players.

I disagree. He has to be creating for the other players and he just doesn't. Every time the ball goes to him we either lose possession or the rhythm of our play goes.

Mason Mount is not a top player. He does nothing creative with the ball, can't beat his player and his finishing is poor.
