Personally I don't think Cech was playing great in his last full season before Courtois come back from loan. To me it looked like errors was creeping in and sometimes letting in goals he should of saved. I was one of those who said Courtois should replace Cech and even after this season I don't see any reason to think otherwise. Cech has made errors this season and selling him to Arsenal is one of the worst decisions the clubs has made. You got to remember this season has been a complete disaster and the form of Iva and Cahill has been poor. Dave hasn't been great and the confidence can't be high. Courtois is still only young aswell.

I like Jose as a manager, he is the most successful in Chelsea's history and one of the most successful ever, I don't mind defending him and liking him. You obviously don't like Mourinho and have been waiting for this oppurtonty to slag him off, like I have said bet you was cheering all the trophies he won or was they really hard to take. I reckon Utd with Mourinho will finish above Chelsea next year maybe even win the prem. I have also stated before in a post the things I didn't enjoy when Mourinho was manager so it isn't all one sided. I can just see the board and the players are to blame just as much as Mourinho but at the end of the day only one person at any club takes the blame and that's the manager. You can't sell all your players can you. Costa throwing his bib at the manager was awful behaviour.

I agree with all that but it's alright when your winning the league though ;). The Eva situation was so embarrassing, she didn't do anything wrong. Even last season Mourinho would keep playing the same players, then this year he would keep playing out of form players like Iva. The way Costa was behaving I would of dropped him, played youngsters if Remy and Falcao wasn't fit. Costa got 4 goals in 20 games for Mourinho. Mourinho did like defence first so that's why Iva and Dave were picked over Luis but both players gave very little going forward, but Luis was a top draw LB who is first choice for Athletico and now Brazil, that was a mistake by Mourinho. Even this season Mourinho wouldn't pick Baba and we had Zouma playing RB. The one thing about Mata is Chelsea got good money for him but he is a much better player than Oscar. The biggest thing that bothered me was the lack of opportunities to players specially when Mourinho said he can decide on a player within 10mins. I was excited when we had KDB and Lukuka but never given a chance. Now we need to spend the same amount of money to bring that sort of quality back to the squad. Whether they have played poor or not players like Salah, Moses, Cuadrado, Bertrand and Luis never being given a chance in the first team. Imagine the difference Luis, KDB and Lukuka would make to this squad.

But you won't put any blame on the players who have underperformed specially Costa who came back overweight, just stood on the left wing and watched crosses go into a empty box. William was a last min signing to the reaction of Spurs and probably to stop them from getting him which has worked out good. If Pedro was plan b who was plan a then? Why would you sign someone on the last day of the transfer window if you have been chasing him all summer, last player Chelsea needed was a winger. Regarding Falcao like I said Mourinho isn't exactly going to say his rubbish before his walked through the door. I reckon Williams would give Arsenal enough points to be joint top or top and would improve City's defence when Kompany was injured and now playing with him. He is a proven PL CB who is a leader and talks to players and would make a difference where the big teams have extremely underperformed. This is a one off whacky under quality premier league where it will be Leicesters, Spurs and Arsenals best chance to win the league for the next 10 years. Williams is class and would get in Arsenal, City's, Liverpools and Utds team. The point is about improving the squad not just the team. How do you know Falcao was Mourinhos signing? Maybe he had no choice, maybe the club didn't want to spend any money on a forward. The point about Benteke is Liverpool was willing to spend 30m even though they have Sturridge, Origi, Firminio and Ings. Yes Benteke hasn't played well but he don't exactly play alot. There good examples to say there are players out there and other clubs did improve or try to improve while Chelsea stood still. But hey it's all Mourinhos fault everything is. Talking about CBs if we even wanted to improve the squad there are proven PL CBs like Williams and Reid who would be cheaper than Stones and cost less. They would both get in most of the top teams. Even Fonte is good.
