Terry and Carvalho was the best CB pairing the premiership has ever seen in my opinion. Won how many competitions together and only conceded 15 goals in there first premier league season as a pairing, a record I doubt will ever be beaten. Carvalho was a great player. Galas played LB under Mourinho till the swap for Cole which Chelsea got the better deal out of it.

Was just saying you can't really judge players on 10mins here, game there. Players need consistency and to be given a chance. But if the manager don't rate them like Salah, Cuadrado, Moses, KDB etc then it don't matter anyway.

I like watching Drinkwater too, great pairing in midfield and supplement each other perfectly.

This Was No Accident - Just Our Watershed Waiting To Happen
Biggest thing the new manager needs is time and to manage the club fully to how he wants too. The problem is we all know he will be sacked if the club spends millions and there underachieving by Christmas. The one thing i would do is keep Terry. Based on quality he is still Chelsea's best CB, is there anyone better in the prem and he is perfect for others to learn from. Don't need to state the effect he has on the dressing room. If you keeping Ivanovic which is a joke you have got to keep Terry.

Your seeing things that ain't there. I have never said there all great. I am saying its a good squad which it is. I think a world class manager can turn some of those players into better players like Schniederlin, Smalling, Jones etc. I would take Schniederlin at Chelsea any day of the week. Carrick is still a top player, always been underrated and ages doesn't matter. You seem to rate players/managers on how there performing now. For example Benteke, his been a flop this year so his no good. What happens if Kane does nothing next year, is he a flop?

That could be more because there defence is terrible and have had s*** load of injuries. Still think a good manager will do better with a squad of Martial, Mata, Carrick, Depay, Smalling, De Gea, Valencia, Herrera, Lingard, Shaw, Rojo, Schneiderlin, Schweinsteiger, Blind, Young, Darmian, Jones, Fellani , Rooney, Januzaj Mason plays in the Europa. Wimmer has only been playing since Vertonghen is injured.

It don't take long for the real you to come out. I don't mind saying I am negative but looking at positives in other clubs is no bad thing and just not being biased. I am looking for positives for every club going towards the future, your just looking for negatives. Liverpool have a good future ahead, there's nothing to say otherwise is there. Regarding Spurs they improved there squad, how many times does that have to be said. How much youth is the Spurs manager using? They brought Alli by the way. City was already playing terrible in the league before the Pep announcement. It's ok to talk about net spend for Spurs but not Chelsea? Getting confusing now. Personally I think Utd have quite a good squad, I honestly think the manager is useless and Mourinho is that good of a manager he could of won the league with Utd if he took over in January. Utd will only get better. As usual your points are useless.

That's the problem in the past the solution was Cech, Terry, Lampard, Ballack, Cole and Drogba. Any team with a spin of those players wins trophies.

Also depends the manager and what was happening behind the scenes. For Scolari and AVB I think they was the right sackings. Grant never got sacked and was Interim. Carlo and Jose twice was harsh for me. I wouldn't say Arsenals philosophy has ruined them, just Wenger has held them back and the FA cup win has papered over the cracks. Tbh I don't really mind as I hate Arsenal.

Talking about now and the future Liverpool have reached a carling cup final lost of pens. Still got top 4 hopes and in Europa League. Klopp will have all summer to build and work with his own squad. I would be very excited as a Liverpool fan. Spurs are in the title hunt, have a great manager in place and quality squad. City have a top squad with an underachieving manager in the league. They will only add to the playing staff and with Pep will be suprised if they don't win the league. Utd have a big squad. I think there biggest weakness is the manager. If Mourinho took over as manager in January they would of had a good chance to win the league. If Mourinho takes over in the summer they will be in the hunt for all the trophies. Arsenal are the same old. Wenger won't spend money even though there's 100-150m kitty sat there. Tbh I don't care about philosophy. But I think Arsenal look at Utd and how they have there lost there's from the Fergie years and that's they there scared to make changes. Would I take 12 managers and 4 league titles or 1 manager and none.

Diego "the guv'nor" Costa
Was Costa even injured Wednesday? Looked fine yesterday
-
Diego "the guv'nor" Costa
Don't really prove if he wants out or not though

Diego "the guv'nor" Costa
Haha, that would been quality. Said on Sunday Supplement Costa wants out, apparently he wanted out last summer and Madrid bidded for him in Janaury.

They all improved there squads that's the point. Having sterling, KDB, Nasri, Navas, Silva, Toure, Bony and Aguero is a big quality squad. Having Delph, Fernando, Fernandinho are all options.

Didn't Chelsea sell Lukuka the same window they brought Costa. If so they can't exactly buy a proven top forward to say your going to sit on the subs bench. If Lukuka couldn't be offered first team football for that reason and he wanted to leave that's understandable. The home form has been of a relegation team so that hasn't really improved. The undefeated draws have glossed over the performances which have still be quite poor and dull to watch apart from Costa. Yes Chelsea moved up the table but I am sure if Mourinho was told forget everything else and play to DMs and concentrate on getting out of relegation he would of managed it.

Who has said that, you talk some rubbish

Guus Hiddink - New (old) Chelsea-manager
Hiddink should play the youngsters but I reckon he will be concerned about his draw record.

Arsenal improved there squad by a keeper who will gain them 10 points a season Liverpool improved there squad Utd improved there squad but the manager ain't all that. City spent loads of money - Sterling, KDB, Otamendi, Delph. Bony in January. Spurs - Wimmer, Trippier, Alderweireld, Son All these teams improved there teams/squads.

Your such an idiot, of course net spend matters. You make out net spend don't matter if the players sold wasn't wanted by Jose. At the end of the day just because they was sold doesn't mean the players wasn't wanted. Lukuka couldn't be promised first team football. Mata the money was too good to turn down for a club that likes to sell and buy. Cech couldn't be promised first team football. Jose might of wanted to keep them but maybe the club thought how can you turn down 28m for a sub forward.

Guus Hiddink - New (old) Chelsea-manager
So you really believe if Mourinho stayed as manager Chelsea would of got relegated. by the point Mourinho left he was still going for Europe. If everything stopped then and he was just looking to get Chelsea out of a relegation battle I bet Chelsea would of moved into mid table. Play for the draws like Guus.

Jose Mourinho thread
I just know it's all Mourinhos fault. Mourinho still had a PL winning team. When Hiddink loses with the same squad it's still Mourinhos fault. If we lose in 10 years time to a Traore goal it's all Mourinhos fault.
