Guus Hiddink - New (old) Chelsea-manager
Talk about Guus's home form then, it's been p*** poor. It's not always being negative but realistic. Talking about Chelsea are third in the table or something like that then make it look like Chelsea would win the league if Hiddink was there from the beginning is laughable. I'm not saying you but some people write rubbish like that. Being realistic is to know there are generally improvements in most teams when a manager gets sacked. That's not being negative on Hiddink but I expected Chelsea to improve when it was obvious to see the players wasn't playing for Mourinho. The only way was really up.

Well I would see rock solid as winning every game and not struggling in games like Watford and Norwich

Tbh I would say it's been very good, Arsenal one was good because thats how you do a job on them. Southampton was a good comeback against a good team, palace nice. Watford, Utd and Norwich was a struggle to watch.

Guus Hiddink - New (old) Chelsea-manager
It's exactly this and saying Chelsea would finish this position are all what ifs. The start of the season and midway through are different scenarios and nothing against Hiddink but taking over half way through the season there was always going to be an improvment on what had happened before. What if Costa wasn't performing for Hiddink at the beginning of the season because he was unfit. What if Courtois didn't get injured? What if Fabregas was the one out for 3 months? The whole hing is what ifs. Someone said the away form has been rock solid, rock solid is well over the top.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek
Do I have to go through this again. Mikel is 1 of a number of players who got there position wrong, didn't track back or had a fault for the goal, just happens to be there was loads of faults. People question why was Mikel running to the half way line, why did Courtois punch rubbish, why RLC just walk back.
-
Ruben Loftus-Cheek
If people can be down on RLC then people can be much more down on William, Mikel, Courtouis or Baba being to far up. No one has blamed Mikel for the goal but where was he for a DM, running at the half way line. So he is one of many of players who fault can be found on for that goal.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek
Just watched it and your so right, where the hell was Mikel in that whole clip, ment to be a DM. What William did to lose the ball was criminal. Also had a laugh at Iva, hands straight behinds his back lol.

Oscar - Little Diamond
Everything you say is right, when you play can you need to be able to pick out some killer passes, Oscar lacks creativity a forward needs and it can't all be relied on Fabregas all the time. There's only so many runners you can have in your starting eleven.

Thibaut Courtois
I agree, problem is it's the great saves that make the highlights package but other things can be just as important like catching from set pieces and not being bullied to take the pressure of your defence.
-
Thibaut Courtois
That's the thing, the very top goalkeepers might need to only make one save and that could win there team the game. Like Cech, Van Der Sar, Seaman and Schmeichel all at there peak. Don't me get wrong De Gea is the best shot stopper about but is not a complete keeper. What I loved about Cech was the way he bossed his area and his all round goalkeeping. There's plenty of good shot stoppers around Adrian, Fabianski and Ospina for examples. For me Courtois is the best all rounder in the league at present and will only improve.

Thibaut Courtois
People forget towards the end of his Chelsea career Cech was making mistakes and he has made some this season with Arsenal. For Arsenal Cech is worth another 10 points over a season compared to Ospina and Co. Courtois is one the best all round keepers about. Was a great signing and will only get better. De Gea is a great shot stopper but not better all round like Courtois.

Top 4 back on ?
Why do you keep going on about injuries? They havnt been that bad, look at UTD then I would think we have been unlucky.

Guus Hiddink - New (old) Chelsea-manager
This season I am struggling to see the master-tactician your talking about

Chelsea v Stoke City (PL) - 05/03/16 KO 15:00 BST
You would think you would keep Matic on to hold the 1-0

Chelsea v Stoke City (PL) - 05/03/16 KO 15:00 BST
Is there any reason why Tony Gale seems to do every Chelsea game?

Chelsea v Stoke City (PL) - 05/03/16 KO 15:00 BST
Like Ivanovic at CB, think he should stay there for the rest of the season

Or about Mourinho? ;)

I know, just don't rate Mikel full stop.

Chelsea v Stoke City (PL) - 05/03/16 KO 15:00 BST
Don't get me wrong Mikel is playing better than Matic who has been dreadful this year but I also don't think Mikel has been that good either. I just hope Mikel isn't the best option we have next season, Imbula would of been perfect for Chelsea.
-
Chelsea v Stoke City (PL) - 05/03/16 KO 15:00 BST
But you think it's that hard to outperform Matic at the moment?
-
Chelsea v Stoke City (PL) - 05/03/16 KO 15:00 BST
So will Traore start because he scored today? We conceded a goal because of Mikel. Mikel is the best of a bad bunch in that position. I have hardly seen him play well and he will be following the ball around like a headless chicken against PSG
-
Chelsea v Stoke City (PL) - 05/03/16 KO 15:00 BST
Just as awful as each other really, least there's a chance Matic might play well.
-
Chelsea v Stoke City (PL) - 05/03/16 KO 15:00 BST
Rather keep Mikel on if it means he won't play against PSG

Chelsea v Stoke City (PL) - 05/03/16 KO 15:00 BST
Oscars been in cracking form this season, take giving RLC a chance any day.

Chelsea v Stoke City (PL) - 05/03/16 KO 15:00 BST
But we play Mikel, Matic and Oscar ahead of RLC. Against MK Dons RLC played very well, all RLC gets in the league is minutes at the end of the game. Just because Hiddink has made changes before a champions league game doesn't mean Mourinho wouldn't off.
