  1. Giroud looks done for me, I would get him off as silly as it sounds, put Willian on.
  2. This is why Hazard needs better players around him, had the ball in a good position, nobody else but Giroud with him.
  3. Where has this Bakayoko been all season?
  4. I love when Hazard is like this
  5. Did I actually just see Bakayoko do that before the goal? Where did he pull that from

If Clattenburg came out and said that about a game which hurt Liverpool or United there would have been an absolute sh*t storm. Every Sky pundit, MOTD pundit, they would all be talking about it and covering it wanting justice and stricter refereeing. Instead, the media headlines were "Clattenburg let Tottenham implode" Yeah Tottenham were the victims in that game, not two of our players who were almost severely injured by disgusting tackles.
  7. Can't agree more, we've always seen Fergie as indestructible, and he's done a great deal for football. I really hope the man pulls through, very sudden this has happened.
  8. I'm fully aware how bad he has been this season, but I'm pointing out how good he was last season, that hasn't just gone away. Perhaps I should've worded it better, but the David Luiz of last season is what we have sorely missed.
  9. We've sorely missed David Luiz this season. I was even saying this when Christensen was playing really well, we just don't have that threat from playing it out from the back like we did last season. Last season we were also clinical, I remember how ruthless our counter-attacks were and they would always come from playing it out from the back.
  10. Mourinho doing a good job of pissing off his players again, Rashford & Martial especially can't be too happy to stay. I can't see United winning the league next season, Jose just hasn't got it since he has arrived and I think it's too late for him. Matic has been rated by United fans out of insecurity because he came from Chelsea, he has been ridiculously inconsistent and he's one of the main reasons why their play is so slow. Herrera does a much better job than he does. Young and Valencia have been terrible, badly need replacing. United have got no good fullbacks, they'll need to do what City did and pay a large amount of money on fullbacks in the summer, Luke Shaw is struggling, and Damarian would have been good 10 years ago, he's too defensive oriented. The issue is when City bought their fullbacks, that's all they needed to do, United look like they need a new team. Smalling and Jones are garbage, if it wasn't for their nationality they would have been binned years ago, Rojo and Lindelof also look bang average. I'm actually loving the prospect of United failing miserably next season, I can't possibly see how they'll win the league next season without having to sign a ridiculous number of players. City are just too good in almost every area, and I think we can improve in the summer and step our game up. But for me I see City winning the league again next season, and I think we'll be up there challenging them.
  11. Who cares? We aren't getting top 4 anyway.
  12. Steven Gerrard is the only person who can stop Brendan Rogers from winning the league, he's already done it once.
  13. Zidane gets a ridiculous amount of luck in the Champions League that it's not even funny, I would be very surprised if Madrid didn't win it for a 3rd time in a row.
  14. He's played 27 league games... twenty-seven league games. Has he been dropped now? No, he's already back in the starting lineup despite not earning it. We are clutching straws if we are saying he has been dropped, he got suspended and now he's a starter after what? 4-5 games he shouldn't have played anyway, 2 of them being big Champions League legs. Considering he's also had an injury and apparently "dropped" he's played 27 league games and god knows how many overall. As for Morata, he's clearly at the pinnacle of the criticism, notice your keywording here "not specifically", but mostly. And that's not even a good argument to make, is Friminho Liverpool's top goal scorer? Why does Salah have 20 more goals than him then, and why is Mane not that far behind Firminho in goals. You don't just come out and say "well if the striker hasn't scored any then the other players can't have scored many either", that's not how football works. So he's definitely putting much more blame on Morata than he is other players. If the team is a collective then criticise the team as a whole, not make a point about the striker, there are about 9 players who haven't performed this season to their usual standard.
  15. You mean he got suspended because of his sending off? Bakayoko has had 27 Premier League games, Morata has had 29. How can a player who has played at the level Bakayoko has play 27 Premier League games when there are other options? With Morata we only had batman on the bench and Conte wasn't keen on playing him, probably because of his hold up play. When Morata was injured Conte was getting on his back about it (which is also a good thing by the way but listen to my point) but to compare that to Bakayoko who has been protected all season and constantly played while out of form is just not fathomable. He got one thing right while getting a lot of others wrong, if you're going to criticise Morata then you need to criticise all the other players who also aren't performing. To blame our woes on goal scoring on Morata is a great way of alienating him when you aren't criticising the other players.
  16. Did you read what I said after that? I literally said it's not a bad thing. I'm making a point that it's unfair to publicly criticise one player and single him out when there are so many players underperforming and get a ridiculous amount of protection. Bakayoko prime example.
  17. Ernie I literally said in the matchday thread around the 70th minute that Conte will make a change in the 80th and he'll take off Hazard and leave Bakayoko on. Wallah it happened, he's that predictable. His subs are actually worse than Rafa Benitez's subs that's how bad they are. Everybody in the matchday thread knew when Conte was going to make subs, so surely the opposition do also.
  18. I can only recall one bad game from him this season, Man City at home, that's it. Other than that he has been his standard as always which is exceptional.
  19. I'm not against the prospect at giving Loftus Cheek a chance here, but what we can't do and I've said this time and time again, is put all of our eggs in one basket. We need to go out and buy a good midfield partner to play next to Kante, somebody who could do what Matic did but better. I don't think RLC can do that, and especially not Bakayoko. But I think RLC can definitely get some game time here, I wouldn't write him off just yet, he definitely has talent but he'll need more experience until he's completely moulded. I would suggest another loan or keep him in the squad but actually play him, preferably in cup games and occasional PL games.
  20. Absolutely, and like I said I don't mind him having a pop at the players instead of overly protecting them like Arsene Wenger did to his, but Conte is accepting 0 responsibility. He brought in Morata and he's the one who trusted him with being our number one striker, if Morata's finishing is to blame then why did he not play Batsuayi? The issue is that there are so many players who have underperformed this season. if you single one player out then how is that fair? David Luiz, Courtois, Moses, Bakayoko, Morata, Willian, Pedro, Cahill all of them have underperformed this season, that's 8 players, you could even debate Alonso but I think he's done very well this season despite a lot of criticism he gets. I would also say Hazard has underperformed for his standards but only his standards, other than that he's been our best player as usual which you would always expect. And what has Conte changed in his tactics and subs? He didn't make a substitution until the 80th minute when Swansea were outplaying us by the 60th minute, that's 20 minutes to make a change which is just utterly ridiculous. He's still continuously playing out of form players, I can bet you my house Alonso will start next game even though Palmieri has been fantastic in his last 3 games. I can bet you my life Bakayoko will start next game and Gary Cahill will probably also get another start. I don't know the ins and outs of the transfer policy or what goes on, but Conte has to take a lot of the blame, he has been making bad decisions. As for most of the blame that's highly debatable, we don't know the full story, but I really wish Conte would open up and take the blame for the way this season has went. That would show to us that he actually gives a damn and he actually wants to stay here and build a team.
  21. He really pissed me off yesterday like he has a lot this season. Instead of owning up to his faults he's blaming his players. I don't mind him taking shots at his players, Morata should have done better this season, but blaming Morata for our problems when you're constantly playing negative football after going 1-0 up and playing out of form players every single game it's your own fault. We have to be the least clinical team in the league, and that is no exaggeration, the chances we have missed this season... It's just ridiculous. So now he's alienating players and pissing them off, having a pop at Morata while benching him, that's a good way to piss off your striker. Consistently taking off Hazard when he's by far our best player and has never had issues with stamina or tiredness. Playing Bakayoko consistently while shunning Drinkwater who now wants to leave the club because of the lack of game time. And I'm not sure what's going on with him and our defenders at the moment, Christensen, Luiz and Rudiger. Once again no decisions until the 80th minute, and even then he takes off our best player and leaves our worst player on. It's so f**king hard to defend him when he's making these decisions every game. We didn't need to let Swansea back in the game, but we just did that, our players seem to just lose interest after halftime whenever we are 1-0 up.

Meanwhile, Bakayoko is playing like absolute dog sh*t every game but still gets a start.
  23. I think you have a point and I actually hope that's the case, for his sake. Because if he has personal issues (he looks to be struggling massively for confidence) then that's something that can be fixed. However we have to accept reality here, this bloke is on what 50k 60k a year minimum? He could even be on a 100k a year for all I know I'm not sure. He doesn't just look drained of confidence he looks lost, he doesn't know the game as well as a footballer should. It's honestly like they've just pulled a bloke from a pub team and just shot him on there while saying "read the game as best as you can". Again for the 3rd time, he was playing as a left wing-back, practically hugging Palmieri. And when he wasn't doing that he was going further up the pitch far too much, Fabregas had to play deeper. His football IQ is shocking, I've never rated the guy, I've heard good things about his Ligue 1 performances last season but when I watched him in the Champions League I was far from impressed. I just have no hope at all that there is a player in there, I would be fine with him staying another season but he can't get that game time again. He just can't, we need an upgrade, we can not put all of our eggs in one basket. We did that with Bakayoko and now we have a huge void next to Kante that's definitely cost us a lot of points this season. It baffles me how he gets so much game time as it is.
  24. I wouldn't be so confident that Baka is better than Xhaka I really wouldn't, but other than that I agree with what you're saying, it could be worse. There was a bloke on here who got banned not too long ago and he suggested that the Arsenal team isn't much different from the Chelsea team, glad he got banned for that statement alone. We are lightyears ahead of them in quality, and I know we are in safer hands than they are.
  25. That Arsenal team is disgusting, is this the great Arsenal Galitcos that Wenger has left Arsenal with that I keep hearing about, they're now the dark horse for next season? I genuinely don't even recognise 2 of their players.
