The Arsenal fans today...
I was at the game on Sunday and after coming out witnessed the most sickening thing I have heard at a football match We came out on the way to the tube by the big ARSENAL letters and standing just next to a row of PC Plods from Trumpton ( I mean that aswell) was a so called gooner shouting "Helicopter rides - come and get your helicopter rides" At which point I shouted at him - " you sick C*** - that's f****** sick - you aught to be ashamed at yourself - that woman lost her husband and her son in that crash" Then I shouted at the copper " Oh aren't you gonna do anything about that then" To which he replied pushing up his specs on his nose "I'm sorry I don't understand - I didn't hear anything" "your'e effing useless then being here aren't you" - I replied At which point my dad dragged me away before I let rip at PC Plod from Trumpton Scum is all I can say

This morning's ticket farce!!
My dad was originally meant to get there at midnight but someone called to say they had been queuing since lunchtime yesterday so he rushed down there at 7 last night He said there was 300 in front of him and the word spread quickly The rest of our groups tickets as they were in someones house in Worcester Park arrived by 10.30pm and they let him in He said it was v organised though and most knew someone to talk to in the seats so it passed the time quicker at least they were undercover away from the elements They put them in the stands in seat order and Eddie came round at about 8 ish with his clicker to check how many everyone wanted - so as not to let peolpe queue for nothing They put on free hot & cold drinks and the big screens on with sky sports news Assuming they sold them early to those waiting in the queue as I tried phoning him at 5.30 this morning and his phone was turned off and he hasn't called Probably asleep by now I think he would have called by now Luckily he lives 5 mins away from the ground Good luck Just - hope you've got them by now

Champions League Final Ticket Allocation
From BAWA chat page Luckydinho Posted on 1/5 10:12 Email this Message | Reply Phone call from Chelsea this morning -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'd e-mailed expressing my concern at the rumours of 12,000 tickets going to Thoams Cook Packages and also selling arrangements for the final. Basically he said it would be a high percentage would go to TC but didn't expect it to be 12,000. Also pricing was yet to be agreed but upon asking if it could be done at cost rather than making a profit he had no answer. Questioned ?115 for the coach plus ticket to Liverpool - told him National Express do Glasgow for ?1 and the club should look at alternative companies and have the fans best interests at heart - he had no answer. No loyalty scheme will be used for ST holders when allocating tickets and it will be done on a first come first served basis - apparently it wasn't requested at the Fans Forum when agreeing the ticketing policy for the seasons and so cannot be changed now. Fans Forum - DO YOUR JOB - Just like they said priority for st for cup finals over members then - managed to change that straight away!! Still considering i've been quoted ?600 for 2 nights from Flight Options - the club may be the best way of securing tickets if it comes to that

From BAWA ...
i'll do it on the refreshments side but I think a programme is needed - probably be ?15 each though Last time we were there the water was warm and the food was horrid anyway - as normal I'll take me sarnies - being a girl guide an all!!!

102 points or more for members
From the Chelsea Website Additionally 500 tickets have been allocated to members who have 102 loyalty points or more, these will also be on sale on the Monday & Tuesday. There you go Bluenut - you would have had to have been to every game apart from one FA Cup game or one Champions league game to get 102 as the maximum is 107 They would have spent a minimum if in the cheapest tickets approx to up to 160 on cup games+ OT 855 on league games 360 on Champions League Games Making a minimum total of ?1375 - twice the price of the season ticket for the chance of maybe getting 1 final ticket - good marketing and I work for a marketing/advertsing company specialising in loyalty. These are obviously the ones who will get a st next year so good on them for that In the old days a waiting list would suffice - no sorry - until we won the league anyone could just apply and get one- my friends gave theirs up for 2 seasons and were lucky to reapply and get one in the year we won the league - and they got away ST's aswell Now all these die hards appear - why because we are winning - utter load of b******* JCL spring to mind You could replace Chelsea FC with a company that " every little helps" - the true extent of commercialised football

Kenyons loyalty scam
I know Glory 55 Me and my dad have said one more year and then we may give them up - he will be 70 then and he's finding the stress and all that gets him v tired - he' got heart problems He only keeps going because of me. At present my dad and my son share a st between them - Dad goes to about 10 games - Franco to the rest - they are both happy then. You never know I may get a payrise or something and then it doesn't become an issue - as always money is the bug bear of most

Members get a choice before ST holders- latest news
This gets worse Just looked at the Chelsea Website Now the 500m members get the first pick of the tickets along with the away ST holders before the rest of the ST holders They should come last get the dregs - not the best pick F****** Disgusting

Kenyons loyalty scam
Great Post BLUENUT As you say quite rightly PK doesn't care if we give up our ST as there will some other mugs to grease the wheel for a few more years However what he doesn't realise is that those ST who have been loyal for double figure years may be replaced by those that may not be as loyal in the long term Many are right in saying that not all ST holders go to cup games but over the years these have been reduced from what once included in our ST - ie all domestic cup games to now not Therefore adding - say for this year 3 CC games & 4 FA Cup games for a total of ?160 an increase of 25%per person - a huge rise by anyones standards seeing as the ST have doubled in the last 10 years Without us not attending everything - those top 500 members may not have had a chance to buy a ticket with the 5 loyalty points. For me and a lot of others I have spoken to this may be our last year- we have been sweezed just too far now and with interest rates on the rise something has to give and following chelsea is the least painful in terms of not eating or losing the house Its been a good ride but its gradually coming to an end.

Email to Eddie Barnett sent today by me - not a joke one
I don't trust the internet One click the wrong way or it crashes at the wrong moment it won't reset your details for an hour - have tried and failed many times for away tickets on it. When queuing - always get them Lucky enough 2 of the people queuing only live around the corner. Yes we are - there are 4 of us taking it in shifts I know everyone isn't gonna get a ticket by queuing -as there are only 25% at the box office As I said in my letter - it should have been 50-50 Anyway as normal when queuing up for tickets most gather together the maximum 9-10 cards So I think the first 450-500 people will get them at the box office - possibly more We are taking no chances and are talking about getting there at midnight and doing two shifts - with two people on each shift Those who queue are given a ?10 extra each towards their tickets by the other lazy buggers who can't be bothered to stay up all night. I've yet to miss out on the queuing in all these years yet No reply from Eddie on the letter yet though I'll be the one with the fold down chairs a flask of tea and a good book- i'll be taking the wi-fi laptop just in case

Email to Eddie Barnett sent today by me - not a joke one
I have just penned Eddie an email I've never complained to Chelsea in my life but felt I just needed to this time Copied from my personal email To Eddie Barnett ( Box Office Manager) I know you must be inudated today with emails about the FA Cup final. I have never complained in any way shape or form to Chelsea before but feel that my questions need clarifying I have checked previous ST applications and in fact the latest one in regards to priority over members and also on you website. I have found that it quite clearly states that ST holders will have priority over members for finals subject to availibilty On your website of which I have cut and pasted it- it quite clearly states for Domestic Cup games as follows Under the Banner "AWAY DOMESTIC CUP TICKET SCHEME" For the 2006/07 season, subject to availability, first priority on away domestic cup tie tickets will be given to those in the Away FA Premier League Ticket Scheme. Any remaining tickets will go on sale to season ticket holders at one per season ticket holder . Should any further tickets remain after the sale to season ticket holders they will then go on sale at one per member. If the availability of tickets is less than the minimum requirement of the scheme, a ballot will be held involving those in the Away FA Premier League Ticket Scheme. Away match tickets will NEVER go on general sale. Why is it then that you are allocating 500 tickets to members when in the previous quote your commercial Director states that only 85-90% of ST holders will get a ticket anyway.? Members allocations are only mentioned in the Premier league Away scheme ? of which the FA Cup final is not. I know that Chelsea cannot give everyone a ticket - this fault lies only with the FA but as a club you must be clearly transparent and surely cannot change your policies to suit 500 members who clearly cannot year in year out put in the same level of dedication as those ST who have been with the club for years - 11 in my case longer in a lot of others Also as most of us are aware the internet cannot cope with the volumes you are anticipating yet only approx 4800 will go on sale at the box office which is from speaking to many today the preferred way of securing the tickets in your hand - perhaps 50-50 would have been a more preferred solution. The timing is also v bad as it is the morning after many will be travelling to and back to Liverpool. My feeling is that you have obviously delayed on reaching a policy but once again have not looked at all the issues. I feel that there is little or no reason apart from not having to brave the internet every time you want a ticket in having a ST Every year we are offered less and less in terms of incentives and members who in all honesty could sacrifice things like we all do to support Chelsea not just in the UK but overseas aswell are given more. Loyalty works both ways and this policy of keeping members happy doesn't seem to happen anywhere else Man Utd seem to have a fair policy - could you imagine if they gave members tickets ahead of ST Of course not everyone can get a ticket for everything but Chelsea must look after those that have looked after them ? as you well remeber we wern?t as rich as we are today and its only through the likes of us that there is still aclub today ? Save the bridge buckets and all I will as ever queque through the night to secure a ticket but if Chelsea continue to ignore its loyal support I cannot say for how much longer Yours Sincerely And thanks for taking the time to read this Mrs Sarah Dean Doubt if it will get an answer but feel so must better now

Final tickets
This is from chelseafc website under the banner Away Domestic Cup Ticking Policy For the 2006/07 season, subject to availability, first priority on away domestic cup tie tickets will be given to those in the Away FA Premier League Ticket Scheme. Additionally, corporate sales will receive 10% of the allocation from the away club. If there are local supporters clubs in the area where the game is played they will have an allocation of a maximum of 50 tickets to distribute to their group members (who must also be official Chelsea Football Club members). Where does it say 500 to members - it doesn't I[/color] It only says members allocation under the Premiership Away policy It also states quite clearly in our season tickets that we have priority over members for Finals subject to availibilty Bloody Joke Chelsea - whats the point of Having a season ticket I know its not their fault we didn't get enough tickets but you have to follow the procedures you set out at the beginning of the year We can't take a chance with the Bloody post & the Internet so it means an all nighter on a work day for only possible 4800 on sale at the box office It should at least be 50% 50% as most don't trust the internet especially on a day like this Another one of Chelsea's bloody attempts to appease the new fans who don't put their money up front like the rest of us - I've heard it all before about not being able to afford it - most of us can't but we continue to sacrifice things each year so that we get to keep our ST How comes someone who has had a membership one year can get priority over those that have ST for donkeys - i've only had my for 11 but I know people who have had one for 20 years + I'm afraid that its getting now where I may well give up mine and use the money to go on holiday - I'm fed up with sacrifcing time and money on a club who couldn't really give a sh*t when it comes to fair allocations They just change their policies when they feel like it I feel a backlash on this one - once again Eddie Barnett has proved he couldn't run a pie & mash shop let alone the ticketing for one of the country's biggest clubs

Final tickets
You've forgotten that out of the 25,000 Chelsea & Man U also have to give their sponsors, players, acadamy people & staff their tickets so thats got to be a few thousand more Samsung & Orange will want quite a few on their own and I know for normal games the whole academy get 2 tickets from 7yrs upwards for 5 games a year. Plus theres the Chelsea pensioners I think therefore up to 3000 may go that way leaving 17k for 23 st holders I think Chelsea should say as soon as possible the cut offs The other problem is you could have loads of fans sitting on their Jack's as say some went to more cup games than others - It will be a hard one to sort out

Final tickets
Taken this from cfc net taken from manu website: Manchester United will play Chelsea in the final of the FA Cup on 19 May, kick off 3pm. The Club is to receive an allocation of around 25,000 tickets. Approximately 4,000 are priced at ?35, 7,700 at ?60, 10,500 at ?80 and around 2,800 at ?95. A half price concession for under 16s is only available on the ?35 tickets. The Club has approximately 65,000 fans (executive and standard) who hold seasonal tickets, including 37,000 in the Automatic Home Cup Ticket Scheme and fans are warned that in the ballot for distribution of tickets, some will be unsuccessful despite meeting all the qualifying criteria for the ballot. To illustrate this, some 25,000 of those with all home cup credits have applied for at least one away game this season. The Club will take every possible step, within the policy set out below, to ensure a fair distribution of a limited allocation. So those who have been to all must be really p*****d off
