As the season progressed other clubs worked out how to play against us & we had less possession .We also struggled to win games & dropped a lot of points. For me he is a one trick pony !!

Many of of the Leicester fans will be more than happy to see him go. Leicester do not have the talent or the money to buy the talent to play Pep football. Maresca is very ambitious & I'm sure our owners realize that if a big club comes in for him he will be gone. We are in FFP troubles so any money coming in will help.

Exactly, His coaching background is mainly Man C u23's & Peps assistant for one season. Pep type football is boring but I guess you accept it if you are winning titles. To be honest, It's not for me.

I don't really care for the whole play it out from the back possession based strategy. As the season wore on at Leicester the opposition just got wise to things & let Leicester knock it around knowing that there was no real danger. It might work ok at Chelsea because you have higher quality players who can play this system . For me personally I'm happy to see him move on as I think with the players we have we will get murdered playing that style in the Premier . Shades of Burnley !!!!

A has a very much possession base style where the ball is knocked around with the idea that the opposition will lose their shape & and an opening will arise. He plays a back four with one of them stepping into midfield when the club has possession. He uses a single striker with wingers and two tens. His biggest failing for me is that he is very slow to make substitutions. His style of football was not overly popular with the Leicester fan base who really didn't care for tippy tippy football.

We have really missed Casadei at Leicester. It still really irks me that he was recalled & not used ..

He played as an attacking mid at Leicester & was definitely an aerial threat .

I wish we could have kept him !! We have missed him badly & it irritates me a bit that he isn't playing.!!

Leicester are right on the edge of FFP by all accounts & didn't sign Sensi because they couldn't free up the space for him.. You are right, He was never a replacement for Casadei .We were never going to sell Dewsbury /hall in that window , he is our best offensive talent. Casadei was getting game time & our Manager seemed to really like him. He was not returned... he was recalled.

There is no denying the talent but I feel that playing pretty regularly at Leicester would have done more for his development than sitting on Chelsea's bench.

Our Italian manager Enzo Maresca appeared to really like him & he was being used on a regular basis as a sub and had started the last few games. He was improving & adapting to Championship football & will be missed. We are in the process of signing midfielder Stefano Sensi from Inter but I don't think we returned him because of that. My understanding is that it was a recall & not a return.

I expect him to do well for you & it will be good to see get some Premier League experience . He was steadily improving at Leicester & getting more game time every week. I hope he gets a chance ...

I wouldn't say that he was poor but he didn't stand out. He is an aerial threat in the box but for me he seemed to lack pace in general. I think the speed of the English game is something he will need to adapt to. Overall I liked him & I'm sorry to see him go.

Wesley Fofano was a standout for Leicester & if he can get past his injuries he is still young enough to be very very good. The talent is obvious but he has been incredibly unlucky !!

Maresca played Ndidi as an 8 which is unusual but that is where I expect Casadei to play so who knows !! Apparently some players who wanted to leave have now changed their mind so maybe Ndidi is staying !!

Ndidi is almost certainly gone. Enzo Maresca doesn't use a defensive midfielder. I expect him to play alongside Dewsbury-hall as an attacking mid.

He wont replace Winks but will play further forward..

Jesus, Sterling & Laporte will not go to Tottenham ! All three are on top money & all three will want Champions League. Players go where they want these days, top players like that are not going to waste their careers playing for spurs.

I'm not a massive Tammy fan but he is a goal poacher who converts chances in the box. Obviously there is more going on between TT & TA than we know about.

Perez better be careful if he is trying to pull a fast one on Roman. It could go bad for him !

Barkley hasn't looked good for Aston Villa & is struggling to make the team. I'm not sure what your definition of "good money" is but based on his performance at Villa I'm not seeing a rush to sign him.

You hit the nail on the head, no team wanted to be left at the station while the other 5 went on to print money ! It was cleverly orchestrated but the presentation was garbage. Big decisions are not made at Chelsea without Romans knowledge. He just didn't realize it wouldn't sell. Hard to have your finger on the pulse of the people when you live the lifestyle he enjoys.

I doubt that Leicester would be too interested in Tammy to be honest, he is very over rated & if they were Ndidi is probably worth 3 times as much a TA. Barnes probably twice as much. Villa would like him back as they remember him from the Championship where he looked good.

They will ask way too much money for him. Injury prone & aging quickly !
