I do not mind Allegri's style of play. It isn't fair to name it "defensive", he wants balance in the team and so do I.

I think its spot on that we will be signing Allegri. Think about it: how many of our permanent coaches have been Italian or have the mindset of Italian 90s style football? Mourinho for sure fits in that category also although not Italian. AVB was a prodigy from Mourinho era... (Dont include interim managers obviously). Heck, even Di Matteo is Italian! We love our Italian coaches, Allegri fits right in!

I dont know how someone can call a tactically master defense and organized attack as pragmatic and boring. What I find boring is keeping the ball and passing it back to your CB DOING NOTHING with the ball. Shipping in goals to me makes the game annoying. Id rather score one or two goals and have none against us. That to me is what an amazing team does.

We certainly are not able with this squad to get Top 4 again without Eden Hazard. Unbelievably naive to believe so. Hazard was the heart and brain of our squad. We are just an empty shell if Hazard goes and we do not replace him adequately. Lets be honest, we arent getting anyone close to Hazards talent anytime soon. We need to rebuild with 2 or 3 players who can hopefully fill the void. In todays market that means £200M spend. Hazard will cover half of that.
