I'm very happy with Maresca. I think he's done a fine job so far. He's been clever with how he dealt with the ridicule heaped on the club, when he first joined, over the squad size. He has at all times been very clear on how he will operate and he has been unfailingly true to his word. He backs himself and trusts his vision. Our stryle of play has been crystallizing week on week. In today's game there were a number of occasions where we moved the ball from front to back as if it were a setpiece. There seems to be a good spirit in the camp and the players look as if they are fully on board with "the project". As a Chelsea fan I think he has done more than enough to deserve our support.

Absolutely correct - as you were also saying in the match thread. He single-handedly brought Leicester into the game, which makes thje rest of the defence jittery.

Give him a break. He tried his best to get out of the way.

Mostly good half. Patterns of play were excellent and we claerly have a plan which looks effective. The first we saw of Sanchez was when he misjudged a floaty ball by about 3 yards and he then domionated the next 10 minutes being Leicester's best player. Our players then remembered the imposter we have in goal and started panicling. I would sub him off at half time. - and I'm not being facetious.

Bizarre from Maresca making only 1 change. Dispiriting for Chukuemeka, Chilwell, Guiu and Caedei.

Wouldn't it be just wonderful if we could score from a set piece? We never seem to get a cheap goal.

His goals got Atletico relegated.

Poor goal to concede with Badiashile ball watching. We should be comfotable in the second half. I was very fond of Conor but from the comments above it seems he gets better the less he plays.
