No cowardice, no excuses.

They are a promoted side who has been quite poor so far, so we need to be more attacking, more aggressive.

Put them to the sword lads, show you have what it takes to make top 4!

Team I want to see:

Jorgensen

James

Fofana

Colwill

Cucurella

Caicedo

Enzo

Neto

Palmer

Felix

Nkunku

If Jackson is invisible for the first 20 minutes sub him off for my 89 year old mum.. (or Nkunku)

Edit... Or my mum could go in goal

Leicester are sh*t enough where Jackson could actually have a field day like West Ham.

So could any of our forwards if they are motivated enough.

Should be the type of game Noni gets a brace or his second hattrick.

Maybe he saves that for Saints 2 league games later.

Actually I forgot the distance, altitude changes a day time zoned crossed by Enzo and Caicedo.

Given who we are playing maybe we can afford to rest them and play Lavia and returning home town boy KDH.

Actually concerned about midfield for this game.  Although Caicedo did did not play yesterday (suspended), both Caicedo and Enzo are scheduled to play Tue evening local time.  Reality is they won't get back until Wed evening (if private), but most likely Thu sometime (if flying commercial).

The early Sat kick off does not help at all; Leicester is not far but no idea if Chelsea travel the night before or coach early Saturday.  This is one time we could actually do with the Sunday kick off.  Be interesting to see if they make it.

Is also a risk playing them on such a turn around.

I would prefer we use Lavia and either KDH or Veiga.

Actually do we even need 2 DMs against Leicester? Surley we need to release our firepower.

Why not to 10s and one 6? In this case Lavia to protect Caicedo?

Jorgensen

James

Fofana

Colwill

Cucurella

Lavia

Neto

Palmer

Nkunku

Felix

Guiu

Or play Sancho on the left and have Felix, Nkunku and Palmer all interchange between dropping deep and leading the line.

Though I like what I have seen from Guiu, great work rate and pressing. Useful.

I haven't seen Leicester play a whole match this season but going by the league table (not really helpful this season as its only 4 points between 4th and 13th) I would agree-ish there isn't a need for 2 DM's but I'd assume he'd just swap lavia or caicedo for a #8.  Hopefully lavia to give caicedo a rest and maybe kdh/veiga instead of Enzo (same reason).

But I'd actually love to see if nkunku could play an 8!

So many players have had to adapt and we know these players are versatile. The question is has nkunku adapted!? Has he thought of any other way to influence maresca he should play?

Palmer has adapted to #10, neto can play both wings, noni has played lw before as well as his usual rw (not any good, imo), even mad jacko went from lw to #9. Gusto, cucu, reece and veiga have also adapted to other roles or positions. There are examples across the whole team.

i really wish nkunku can adapt too. I know his range of passing isnt like enzo's or felix, well i havent seen it yet but i would like to try it out.

Saying all that, it will probably be kdh or veiga as the #8 options after enzo and felix. I dont see him taking risks in the PL though, maybe its an option for conference league/cup games.

So, as its a PL game...

Sanchez

James

Fofana

Colwill

Cucurella

Lavia

Kdh/veiga

Neto

Palmer

Noni

Jacko.

Fail to pick up anything but 3 points is a disaster  if  we want top 4 this season. Can’t afford to drop points against teams in the bottom half of the table.

sanchez

james fofana colwill cucurella

lavia caicedo

Neto plamer sancho

Jackson

Marasca needs to change it up for this match, if he is so obsessed with playing his love child (Jackson) then why not play 4-1 3-2?

Sanchez, James, Forfana, Colwill, Cucurella, Lavia, Sancho, Palmer (Felix), Neto, Jackson, Nkunku

Caicedo needs to rest,  flown all that way to watch (banned)

even rest Palmer if not 100% Felix can play, ITS NOT A TOP TEAM

Unless BT works on my phone abroad I'll be missing this one annoyingly as I'll be at the Levekusen match with my German friend (who are ironically facing our Europa League opponents of next week).

Conference league*

We're still yet to reach the dizzying heights of the Europa league under this ownership.

Player welfare is popping up in the media, as they speculate that, in addition to the injured Lavia, neither Enzo nor Caicedo will be able to start due to all the travel, time zone changes and this being an early Saturday game.

If none of the 3 can play then I would opt for:

Jorgensen

Gusto

Fofana

Colwill

Cucrella

James

Palmer

Neto

Nkunku

Felix

Guiu

I know, I know. Jackson and Sanchez will play.

James a 6, Palmer an 8, like how Caicedo and Enzo set up as a duo.

Not Coles ideal position but we need him and we need to be attacking this lot and going for goals.

Caicedo did not play against Bolivia a few days ago as he was suspended. Will play against Colombia tonight and head back to Cobham tomorrow. He will 100% start against Leicester.

Lavia was precautionary. He was supposed to play in only one of the two matches, against Israel, but since Belgium lost against Italy, that match had no meaning anymore and they decided to let Lavia rest.

Enzo played around 80 minutes last match for Argentina and will start again tonight v Peru. I think he will be on the bench on Saturday.

Caicedo and Lavia in midfield v Leicester most probably.
