Mateo Kovacic
Was either Falcao or Pato. Think both were around the same time, unless I'm forgetting someone else.

Little Fekir
Fekir is 5 years younger and gives us much better balance with him being left footed.

Mateo Kovacic
To the people saying it's not a good deal because there's no option to buy you have to think that we're only in Europa League so getting a player of his talent into our squad is only a good thing. He's good enough to help us get back into the CL next season where we will get a lot of money for that and then we can either try to buy him on a permanent deal or look elsewhere with the money we have, plus the lure of CL football. Ideally I would also like it if the deal had an option to buy, but it's certainly not a deal breaker for me.

Kepa Arrizabalaga
Would love to get him in but can't quite see us getting this one done. The massive fee aside, it would be a fantastic signing.

Little Fekir
If we somehow get Fekir in and Kovacic (albeit on loan) it'll suddenly look like a pretty decent transfer window. The keeper problem is still an issue, and I highly doubt we'll land someone like Kepa and instead get Butland, but the first team won't look so bad. Butland Azpi - Luiz - Rudiger - Emerson Kante - Jorginho - Kovacic Fekir - Morata - Hazard That's far from being the train wreck we think we're in at the moment. Of course we would have to land those players, but a first team like that is some what realistic, even at this late stage of the transfer window.

We want you to stay Courtois

http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11854/11455103/gonzalo-higuain-agrees-to-join-ac-milan-on-loan-from-juventus I was in the minority but I wouldn't have been annoyed if we had landed him. Also not fussed that we missed out either. Morata is going to need to really step up this season though.- Where will we finish this coming season? And what will be your top 6?
I think 4th is fair. We would have to be at our absolute best all season to break into that top 2. 3rd is reachable, but I think with a new manager and the teething problems that comes with it, 4th would be a great result for us. 1. Man City 2. Liverpool 3. Tottenham 4. Chelsea 5. Arsenal 6. Man Utd- Rob Green
It's purely for homegrown status. He won't even play a match unless something apocalyptic happens.- Pre-Season
And, for what it's worth, Piazon was wearing 22.- Pre-Season
He looks like a newborn giraffe who is trying to walk for the first time.- Pre-Season
He deserved a goal. Would have been nice if he had slotted one.- Pre-Season
Pedro crunched that. May have been right at Reddy, but he did well not to spill it to Tammy.- Pre-Season
We've hit the post three times. Easily could be 4 or 5-0 up.- Pre-Season
Tammy is on for Morata.- Pre-Season
You expected Fabregas to score there!- Pre-Season
Mine is Melbourne Victory. Been supporting them since day one.- Pre-Season
Still looks better than the football he produced last season. :P- Pre-Season
Like others have said, the three big ticks for that first half have been Hudson-Odoi, Barkley and Jorginho. It may only be against Perth, but Jorginho looks so classy in midfield. Happy for Barkley as well. I know a lot of people weren't too thrilled with his signing, but there's no doubting his talent and if Sarri can get the best out of him he could be a massive asset to us. And, of course, it's always great to see a kid take his chance, and CHO has certainly done that!- Pre-Season
Usually wears number 70.- Pre-Season
Hudson-Odoi.- Pre-Season
Starting to create a few more chances. Pedro should have grabbed his second, but the build up to these chances is looking promising so far.- Pre-Season
That was a delightful ball for Barkley who should have done a bit better tbh.- Pre-Season
He's been lively early.- Pre-Season
And Pedro has given us the lead! - Higuain
