N'golo Kante - We are not worthy!
If True that's absolutely fantastic for Boehly and probably the biggest thing he could do to get me onside short of leaving Pulisic in Milan next week. How much money has Kante been paid per minute on the pitch in the last 2 seasons? You simply can't give a long term £300K+ week contract to an injury prone player will be 32 at the end of the season particularly one who depends on his physical attributes. We all love Kante during his 5 world class games a season but the top performances are too few and the numbers are too high for us to consider renewing him unless he took a significant paycut and given another club will likely see him as a coup on a free i don't see that happening.

Trent isn't even a better crosser than Reece. It's far easier to Cross to and assist Salah, Mane, Diaz, Jota and Firminho than it was to create chances for Ziyech, Pulisic, Havertz and Fat Rom. If Reece had the luxury of having elite attacking players in front of him as well as a world class keeper, 3 DM's and Van Dijk to cover for him there wouldn't be any debate at all. He's a class above Trent and it really isn't close.

Reece is so good he's made a Junkie like Rio sober up.

He did well in the first half. Their best player. Skipped past James a few times which never happens and created a chance out of nothing that should have been converted. Clearly a big upgrade on what we have and would do well here but his team basically gave up so hard to judge fully.

Honestly Potter not disrespecting the club and blowing the fulltime whistle after 70 minutes by bringing on Pulisic or Ziyech every week is a big positive. He's managed the game well tonight.

Harsh. He's played like 3 games for us. Hopefully this is the first goal of a very successful career for us.

USA twitter is claiming Dest put Mount off.

People shade Jorginho. But I genuinely can't remember the last time we didn't get dominated in midfield without him on the pitch.

As horrifying as it is to see Kepa still playing games for us in 2022 I actually really line this line up. Feeling positive about this one.

Lmao are you seriously suggesting we start a player because his team mate nut megged a defender and cracked in an individual wonder goal?

Be worse than Pulisic and Ziyech. And it's a bar so low Mount has at least 40 more consecutive starts before any sane manager would bench him for those 2.

Christopher Nkunku to Chelsea
If a player lacks the ability to go past players, strength and close control then How exactly is he a good dribbler?
-
We've got a new Kepa
People trying to pretend Kepa is a premier league level keeper or saying he's in form everytime he goes a game without a massive howler will never not be funny.

We've got a new Kepa
Ederson without his distribution is basically Kepa at his best.

MOTM vs Crystal Palace (A) (PL)
Reece. Absolutely destroyed their best player. Palace were noticeably a lot more threatening once Zaha gave up and started going at Chilwell in the 2nd half.

This was Pulisics 9th assist in the league for us since he signed. He's in his 4th season. But even the Yanks can't ruin the beauty of Connors strike. What a goal. Our midfield has missed that for years.

Christian Pulisic - Official
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 The fact everyone knew this was coming after the goal is what made it so hilarious. Everybody wins today - Chelsea fans get to celebrate a great win and a sensational goal by Connor. And you get another season of lauding Pulisic for his creativity for his assist today. Let's party like it's 1999 Tim.

On the verge of our 2nd 1-1 draw in 2 games it seems Potter has fully molded this squad to his image. All those impressive 1-1 draws last season got him this job so Todd must be extremely impressed he's been able to replicate them so quickly here.

We need a new attackers bounce in January.

Palace v Chelsea (PL) Sat 1st Oct 2022 15:00 GMT
Feels like we're in the last 5 minutes. But that's likely because once Ziyech and Pulisic come on we usually completely give up going forward. What I'd give to have a proven goal scorer like Giroud on the bench.

Kepa is pathetically small and weak. Soft foul there but he looked like a little kid trying to get his hands on that.

He's not though is he. We're all just so relieved when he doesn't f**k something up he gets praise.

Probably not if they score against Mendy and Kepa every day in training. It's annoying how they both scored on international duty though and can't hit a barn door here.

He isn't a FK taker but surely Auba should be taking that given it's a close range finish
