Transformers 2 is appalling. I thought it was great when I first came out of the cinema, but every time I thought about it it got worse and worse and worse. The first one is really good though, and I'm yet to see the 3rd. I watched The Social Network again last night, absolutely brilliant film. I didn't realise how loud the music/score was, and sometimes it was really hard to understand the already fast-talking Eisenberg, but I still really, really loved it. I've seen the first half of The Book of Eli too, enjoying it so far, but it was around 1am when I watched it so I was falling asleep, will watch the rest of it tonight.

What a ridiculous story. Modric is not worth trading 3 players for, especially when Alex is arguably our best centre back, Sturridge is a player who we should definitely, definitely hold on to, he could work in AVBs inverted wingers system, which was much like his position at Bolton, and with Essien's injury, we need to be buying midfielders to add to our roster, not swapping them, and I still believe Mikel can do a job for us. What a load of tripe.

What? One, Ash has been a sensation for us, we definitely got the better end of the deal with that one. And two, Henry was, and still is, one of the best players ever to grace the Premier League, he was absolutely incredible, anyone would have given thier limbs to have him at their club. Nasri is not as good as Henry, but he is still a quality player and would improve our squad if you ask me. I'd much prefer Modric, but Nasri would be a great signing if we can't get Modric.

I saw Snatch and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels in a double bill a couple of weeks ago, absolutely superb. Brad Pitt is amazing in Snatch!

Allen's always the first person off the bench (Pratley's stamina is abysmal, but he's quality for the first 60 minutes or so) and he starts the games where any of the 3 need a rest. Bodde has been a sensation for me though, main stay at CDM, and a pretty good free-kick on him too! I've just hit the January window so I have a fair bit to go yet, about 4 points clear at the top, but I had a bad December. Borini I haven't been that impressed with, my front three now is Hoilett---Beattie---Sinclair, Beattie surprised me a lot, Borini I use as his substitute/replacement when he's knackered. Will probably sell Borini, possibly have a stab at getting Lukaku in the EPL!

I don't recommend Antichrist. It's absolutely awful.

Incredible start to my Swansea campaign. Am on World Class, had a bit of a rough pre-season (home draw, away loss, home win), and suffered a disaster in the last pre-season match were Borini got injured and is out for 55 days. So I was without a good striker going into the first game of the season. But, as soon as the league started, it's been unbelievable. Let's review what's happened so far. I went through the squad and put all players below 60 up for sale, all of whom have been sold, making me collectively a solid £4-5million. Swansea also have an abundance of strikers, so Kuqi was sold too, leaving me with Borini, Dobbie and Beattie for one striker spot in a 4-3-3. I bought a decent, 71 rated left back to replace Tate, who cost me about £1million from Motherwell I think, a guy called Hammill, pretty good signing so far. Bought Josh for £1.5million and though he's the lowest rated player in my 3 man midfield of him, Pratley and Bodde, he's far an away the best midfielder. I bought Sam Walker from Chels too, for around £1million, more than adequate sub for De Vries, though I can see Walker replacing him soon. However, losing Borini was such a huge loss, and the other strikers were particularly average (well, Dobbie is, Beattie proved me very wrong in the first League Cup match of the season) so I went looking for an adequate replacement around 70 rating until Borini comes back, with around £6million to play with. A couple of players who thought Swansea weren't prestigious enough, until I stumbled upon Hoilett of Blackburn, rating 74, available for £4.5million. Snapped him up for just under £6million in the end, and he's been an absolute sensation since. Scored on his debut against Cardiff in a 2-0 win, can play on the wing brilliantly, lightning quick. Shrewd bit of business there I think! Swansea 7-0 Cardiff. Beattie scoring 4, Van Der Gun scoring 3. Absolutely awesome stuff. I'm really enjoying this!

Yep, my local team actually. Even had a trial there when I was 9, but got given a £40million price tag on my head which meant I couldn't go anywhere, so I gave up football and got an education.

That seems to be the consensus among those I've talked to who didn't particularly like it. I've talked to loads who absolutely adored it, but some said basically the exact same as you just did. It could have been explored further, you're right, but I loved how it was a summer blockbuster that actually made you think. Compared to Transformers 3, this summer's big blockbuster (after Harry Potter), you came out of Inception with a Cambridge degree. The whole IDEA is amazing, it leaves it open to be explored. I doubt there'll be a sequel because it had such a quality reception, but it's left it open to discussion and people are genuinely still talking about it.

May join you two in this Swansea thing, it sounds like a challenge. Never done it before, always gone a Chelsea or Man City i.e. a team I can spend spend spend! Will probably start on World Class, that's generally my level, but on my Man City dynasty I'm on Legendary. See how it goes.

Read this earlier, did baffle me slightly, especially after his presser and the fact that JT, Alex, Luiz and Ivan are probably among the top defenders in the whole league. I quite like the idea of Cahill, he's a great defender, but I don't want any of those 4 to leave.

This. I was excited before, but it's getting ridiculous now, I hope we don't deal with Santos ever again, they cause so many issues, apparently say one thing, go back on it in the next 24 hours. It's shocking. I'd much rather wait and see who AVB wants, he strikes me as a man who will go out to get the best players and the best deals. Rumours circling about Alexis Sanchez excite me more than any Neymar rumour does.

Currently watching Inception. I'm not sure how many times I've seen it now, but I think it's into double figures. I will never, ever get enough of this film, it's absolutely fantastic. The story is a masterstroke, the whole concept is just mindblowing.

That's the problem, he's 12 years older than their average age.

Apparently both City and United are interested in Nasri. I wouldn't mind us sneaking in there with a bid, he's a quality, quality player who can do a job as an attacking midfielder and can play on the wing very easily.
