I don't know, but last season Ivan seemed to be a pretty spectacular right back. I seem to recall that Ivan was voted as best right back in the league last season. But yeah, Bosingwa's better....

I do realise that, and that's because it was a bit of a knee-jerk reaction. I think I was annoyed that it didn't live up to what I expected, but looking back, it's better than I originally thought (though I still wouldn't see it again...).

I didn't like it, but it's not the fact he had a stammer that was my issue with the story, it's just that the story didn't seem to have enough scope or depth to keep my attention for more than an hour. Had it been a simple, hour long BBC Drama, for example, my opinion would've been different because it's actually quite an interesting and uplifting tale, I just don't see why you need nearly 2 hours to tell a story that can be told in half that.

I remember reading somewhere that our next 14 or so away games (starting a couple of weeks ago) are going to be mid-week because of tv. Bloody stupid.

Completely mental, but it is absolutely hilarious at times.

I just watched The King's Speech. Maybe it's my youth, but I genuinely don't see what the fuss is about. Yes, Colin Firth is excellent as King George VI, but there's literally no story to it. Royal has speech problem - becomes king - does a speech. What's the huge deal about it? I really don't get it. When you have films that genuinely challenge you, make you think and mess with you, like Black Swan, it gets praise, but it does divide critics. Do a film about a monarch, 100 minutes of talking, and ending on a happy note gets critical acclaim from everywhere. It baffles me completely. Anyone care to tell me why this film is so good? I thought it was boring and, all in all, kind of pointless. You could put it down to the spirit of man overcoming his problems, but if that's the main message, then I just wasted nearly two hours of my life. Give me a man's choice of either dying of starvation/thirst or cutting his arm off to survive (127 hours) anyday. Dull dull dull dull dull.

An Olympic stadium in the Championship would be a complete waste (assuming they get relegated this season, as if they do, I can't see them coming back up for a while!). They'll never fill it. At least had Tottenham got it, they'd be able to fill out out a lot better than the Spam could.

But where would Malouda fit in? It seems this is very reliant (down the left) on Ash attacking, but being able to come back and help out Luiz when needs be. I can't see Malouda doing that. YES!!! Fantastic news! I've ear marked him as JTs successor with the captains armband. His passion is third to only JT and Lamps. Amazing news.

Just finished Black Swan, and I have to say, it's an unbelievably good film. Portman is amazing, but I'm now seriously considering this a contendor for Best Picture now. It's absolutely insane, but exceptional all the same. I loved it.

I've heard from numerous people that it's really, really messed up. I'm still curious as to how. I'll watch it on Wednesday.

JT for me, Ivan was passionate as always, but he didn't seem quite himself yesterday. Luiz looks like he could be an absolute star, however. Back four of Ivan/Luiz/JT/Ash against Fulham please.

We were awful, and it was a genuinely awful match (not just from our point of view, everything created was of piss-poor standard), but I'm just finding this incredibly frustrating that our best performance in months in midweek gets little over 10 pages of discussion, losing gets this one nearly to 30. It's bloody ridiculous. People far too easily criticise the team than support it nowadays it seems. The veterans of the forum are different, it's all the ones that create an account just to bad mouth the players/manager/board, and I'm getting sick of it. Yes, we were shocking, but maybe if we actually support the team properly when we do well would be a bit more beneficial than consistant knee-jerk reactions when the littlest thing goes wrong.

It's going to be interesting to see whether Malouda starts or not, and if he does, who does a replace. Ramires doesn't deserve to be dropped, he's getting better and better, I think we'll see Essien dropped for some reason...

Barton just went into the tackle knowing he'll win it, Diaby just stuck his leg in there. Dkw's right, it would've been Diaby's fault had he broken his leg for not doing enough with the tackle.

I'm going to have to agree with Lawrenson on that one, it was a hard challenge, and had it been in the Champions League it would've been a foul, but he got the ball, he didn't use two feet, he just went in strongly, and won the ball. Diaby's reaction WAS ridiculous, who squeezes the back of another persons neck?! I'm not defending Barton, he's an incredibly horrible piece of work, but I'm disagreeing with you on this one.
