Could you bring yourself to cheer Fabregas?

Featured Replies

Blue shirt can make me cheer any player, especially one of Fabregas' skill

This pretty much. Can't stand the guy, but he is quality.

We'll never get him though, and he wouldn't want to come so...

I got over hating Mark Hughes pretty quickly once he started doing the business for us so Fabregas would probably be the same. How does this square with the FFP regulations though? reckon we might get undone by another fifty million pound signing.

50m link in the papers today.

The link is in DailyFail .....so nothing serious about it..take it as a good Joke and laugh out.

Essentially this. The article was nothing more than classic baseless Mail spectulation.

As I wrote elsewhere, I can't see him coming to us for a couple of reasons. Firstly it's highly unlikely that Arsenal would consider selling him to us, at any price, and secondly is the obvious link with Barcelona.

But back to the question. The difference between say, Ashley Cole and Fabregas is that Fabregas's behaviour on the pitch makes him genuinely unlikeable. If Ashley Cole was hated before we signed him, it was mostly simply because he was an Arsenal player. The hatred directed at him since we signed him has been based on media bullsh*t. "Love rat Cole cheats on nations sweetheart" - drivel. Similarly with Torres. What is there to really hate about him, as a player or as a person?

But Fabregas? Undoubtedly a talented player, but he's also a nasty, snidey, whiney cheating little con-merchant. He's a past master at getting players booked or even sent off, conning the ref into giving penalties and dangerous free kicks. He waves imaginary cards, harangues the referee and everything else that goes to make him a perfect fit at Barcelona.

In a nutshell, it would be far more difficult to cheer Fabregas in a blue shirt than Torres or Ashley Cole.

Would rather go after danielle de rossi, fabregas is a good player but we don't want to many players off our rivals. next wel be after Rooney! I think we need to decide on which formation we want as our first choice. If were gonna play a diamond we need a specialist player in the hole like pastore. If were gonna go back to 4 3 3 then we need 2 wingers with pace like hazard and neymar. If roman really wants to spend big he should buy van der wiel, de rossi, pastore, hazard and neymar. Sell ferreira, hilario, bosingwa, zhirkov, beneyoun, and drogba or anelka. Highly unlikely I know but so was signing torres.

Im an advocate for fabregas the player,we need a playmaker simple one touch master, roy keane was brilliant at just moving the ball around quickly ,fabregas is even better, for torres to thrive he needs quick ball use his blisterinf acceleration before defenders can settle, our midfield play so slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.,pirlo of 5 years ago,xavi,vdv,arteta...over to you

I agree.

If Roman is committed to pursue reinforcing the squad and willing to dig deep in the pocket book I would not be adverse to signing Fabregas. He would be the ideal solution to our need for a creative midfielder. The guy is world class!

The only way we would likely get him, is if the Arsenal hierarchy decided the offer was too good to turn down, for a player who has admitted his desire to leave them.

Pretty much a joke to even talk about this, he'll leave Arsenal for Barca in the summer, hero's return etc.

I don't like him as a player, can't say I ever hear much about him in his personal life, right enough. But like it or not, if he did come here, of course I'd cheer him on. WOuld just rather we didn't go for him

F*ck Fabregas, he's a nasty cheating diving mother's c*nt, and should never be allowed to wear the sacred blue of Chelsea.

:laugh2:

next station for cesc is barca and despite that, we got josh.

Actually never bothered me that much as a player tbh, maybe because he's never caused harm to Chelsea. My hatered is so much bigger towards Gerrard and Scholes for example and Iniesta.
