To be perfectly honest, I remember Joe having one good season for us (05/06) and before and after that he was very average. It could be just me, but I was never a big fan of him anyway, his move to Liverpool simply increased my already decided opinion of him.

As someone has said already, I can genuinely see Ivan being our JT when JT eventually gives up the game. He clearly loves this club - scoring our goal when we were demolished 3-1 by Arsenal, his reaction was superb, his absolute joy at the weekend when he scored the first, how vocal he is on the pitch, he's very much like JT sticking his head in where it hurts. Ivanovic - on the fast track to becoming a legend. SIGN. HIM. UP.

I think it is Virosh, though admittedly it is very hard to spot as it lasts for around a second.

I'm all for Carlo picking the team with the most experience, the only problem I have is that he picked the OUT-OF-FORM Essien and Drogba over the obviously in-form McEachran and Sturridge. I just find it odd. Add insult to the fact that Kalou was picked ahead of Sturridge off the bench today.

I said the same after the 7-0, dkw. It's bloody crazy how much people care when we lose, but when we win it's like nothing happened.

It does say a lot about some people on this forum that a 7-0 win merits 16 pages, whereas every draw/loss gets a good 24 - 30 pages. Anyway, can't really judge the performance on the pathetic highlights from ITV, they showed the goals, nothing more, whereas Leicester and Manure had a comprehensive round up, showing chances and getting a good 10 minute discussion in the studio afterwards. I love ITV. From reading the thread however, it seems the youngsters impressed yet again, which I'm absolutely delighted about! Lamps seems back, Sturridge was excellent, happy days! Bring on Blackburn!

Here's hoping ITV give us a full match highlights. Although I fully expect Man U/Liverpool, Arsenal/Leeds and ManCity/Leicester to get the full highlights, while our 7-0 demolishing gets a quick report in the summary of the whole round. I hate ITV.
