Quick question. In Uni, the TV licence people are incredibly strict, any sign of possibly watching something online live like on iPlayer without a licence then you get an immediate warning, but does this apply to watching streamed matches online? Haven't watched any streaming as yet, don't want to risk the fine, can anyone tell me if its alright to do without a licence or best to avoid it?

Watched the City/Manure game, was a stinker, I have to say. Absolutely no chances, Mancini and Rednose both went out to just stop the other team scoring, completely nullifying any possible counter attacking football.

Agree with abra, he needs to bulk up A LOT. Been disappointing the last 2 or 3 appearances for me, but I'm sure with time he'll get used to the big leagues. Regarding the McEachran comment, I don't think you can say one is ahead of the other in the pecking order. Ancelotti has made things clear where he sees McEachran thriving in the side and where he sees Kakuta thriving in the side. The former is in central midfield, box-to-box, different type of player to Lamps as I think Josh is more of a playmaker than goalscorer, whereas Frank is the opposite. Kakuta is definitely going to be used as a winger in the 4-3-3 formation, no doubt about it. They're both two totally different players with big futures at Chelsea, let's just wish they're the top of a long list of youth products like Bruma, Van Aanholt and Borini.

Bosingwa for me, considering he's been out for 13 months and played 70 odd minutes at that standard is nothing short of a miracle, great to have him back! Honourable mentions to Cech, Anelka and Zhirkov, who I'm growing to like more and more, he seems to be adapting well to his role in the centre, should be a fruitful period for him in the coming weeks in the absence of Lamps and Benayoun. Weirdly, the Observer gave McEachran (who played for 12 minutes) a score of 8/10 - equal with Cech and Anelka. Thought he looked comfortable when he came on, yes, but 8?

I think though City beat us because they prepared for a tough battle, to be much more rough and tumble. Against Arsenal, I don't think they planned to be as hard hitting because Arsenal simply aren't as tough.

Finally got around to getting to the cinema, hurrah!! Couldn't decide between The Social Network (which I really wanted to see) and Buried (which I really wanted to see), I opted for Buried in the end and I'm so glad I did. Story is quality, Ryan Reynolds wakes up in a pitch dark place, discovers a lighter in his pocket and sees he's in a coffin, buried undergroud. Finds a bag under his feet, in which is a phone, some glow sticks and a pretty useless torch planted there for reasons that are revealed over the course of the film by his captors. The entire 90 or so minutes are set in the box, and I have to say, it's brilliantly made and a thoroughly enjoyable film. It's tense all the way through, well acted by Reynolds, I loved it.

Made me giggle. Good line up, glad to see Bossy back starting and Sturridge back on the bench, hope to see him and McEachran given a good 20 minutes in this one.

Succeeded in buying my Gaslight Anthem tickets and Biffy Clyro tickets the other week, TGA tickets came within days. Good times :D

Had absolutely no chance to go to the cinema in the past few months, am way behind on the current films. Watched The Hangover over the weekend, and even though I enjoyed it, it's a watch it once and love it film. I can re-watch films like Kick-Ass, District 9, Lord Of The Rings because they're utterly brilliant, but with The Hangover, once you've seen it, you needn't watch it again.

We've established that you're clearly a PES man, but is there reason to put down EVERYTHING positive someone says about FIFA 11? Get a life.
