I've not seen the film, but I want to make two points based on these two quotes bits. 1) If you say it's "magic", doesn't it make sense that as the girl has this ball of water, didn't it ever occur to you that while she lost water, she used the magic at her disposal to give the ball more water? 2) I agree with that for the most part, but I feel the road down hill started after he made Signs, cause that's a superb film, not as good as Sixth Sense, but good nonetheless.

That's exactly what happened. To the tee. In all seriousness, someone in the flat upstairs had it on their memory stick, so a few of us watched it together, it's such a good watch, I can't believe you hated it, moi, I really can't. What did you find so dreadful about it?

Watched Inception for the 3rd time (this time illegally, teehee) and it'll never get old. Such a brilliantly written film.

Mine's, RuhBuhJuh, unsurprisngly. Will have to wait a little while to get online though, probably not until Christmas, but add me anyway to make your friend list look a bit more impressive ;) I'll be playing FIFA 11, BioShock 2, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, I hope.

Unpredictability is what makes this leage the best there is. Compare it to the SPL, do you really expect the likes of Kilmarnock to challenge Celtic/Rangers in the grand scheme of things, honestly? I love it when the league throws up incredible results (Liverpool 1 - 2 Blackpool for instance) it's what makes me come back for more. I don't think it's a change of formation we need, it's just it seems we can either go to 5th gear and smack the opposition to kingdom come or play in 1st or 2nd gear, not really impressing anyone. Arsenal was, however, a step in the right direction, our attack may have wimpered slightly, but the defence stayed at full throttle for the entire 90 minutes, and that's what I like to see. More of the same, please!

Shutter Island is a decent film, but it tried to be one of those films where you have to work out the ending before it tells you, but it was obvious how it would end in the first 15 minutes. Oh and the green screen is SHOCKING. It's a good watch and DiCaprio is pretty good in it, nowhere near as good as he is in Inception, but still a great performance. Watched Blood Diamond the other night (DiCaprio again) and apart from his dodgy accent (a cross between South African and Australian, can never quite tell which is which....) I really enjoyed it. Good story, good action, good ending. Liked it a lot.

McEachran and Kakuta are the ones who have BIG chances of breaking through to the first team in a few years. Over the last few games I've heard nothing but good about both of them (missed them, annoyingly), and it seems against Newcastle, McEachran was actually the star man. Kakuta is going to be sticking around for a long time I think. Bruma and Van Aanholt are the other two that spring to mind quickly, whether they'll be regulars in two years remains to be seen, because I don't think Ash will be losing his place anytime soon, and JT is JT. For 12/13, I'm hoping for something like this: --------------------------------Cech ---Ivan------------Alex----------------JT-------Ashley -------------------Essien-------------Mikel ---Kakuta--------------McEachran------------Sturridge -----------------------------Anelka Although, a signing or two will be put in place by that time, almost guaranteed a striker, so where Sturridge plays remains to be seen, depending on whether we sign a winger of sorts.

Anyone got highlights of this one? I'm currently internetless and for that reason I've missed the last TWO games - yes, TWO! - so I need help. Sounds like we played alright though, will have to read up on all the match reports now in the Uni library in amognst all my hard work (ahem).

It is and pretty much always going to be Manure, Arsenal will come close mind. We've just got to keep our heads and stay focused so whoever our main rivals will be won't matter!

Didn't have as much effect as against West Ham, but he did show a lot of inventivness with lofted balls over the top of the defenders, one got to Malouda and was slightly overhit, had it been slightly softer, Anelka would've had a tap in. Plus, he had a goal ruled out for offside, but for some reason the coverage didn't show a replay, so we can safely say UEFA did us wrong again with that one ;)

I'm 18, so I'm watching Monsters Inc. I love this film, it's brilliant, one of the best Pixar films by my reckoning.

Wombats, that's who I was thinking of!! I'm liking Cult of Celebrity, I have to say, it's a really good recording aswell, from small bands the recording is usually pretty naff, but this sounds really good. I like the guitar inbetween the chorus', it's really good. Thanks for this dkw, following them on Twitter, I like these a lot!

Deary me, what Gem said is absolutely right. We won 4-1, we didn't set the world alight, but who cares?! We won comfortably, never troubled by Zilina, top of the group. Come 2 weeks when we play Citeh, who'd be angry if we beat them 4-1 when we didn't play our best? The point is that for 2 games now we haven't come out of 2nd gear, and we've won 3-1 and 4-1. If we stay in 2nd gear all season and get results like that, I'd lap it up.

Essien for me, he was unstoppable today. Big credit goes to Benayoun though, who was excellent aswell.

Wenger's going off on one again about how all the teams in the world are against him and Arsenal. Dementia is a terrible thing.

I watched Dog Soldiers last night, absolutely brilliant. One of my favourite action/horror films I think, it's superb. The perfect mix of comedy and gore, it's amazing!

I disagree, I think Malouda was rested against West Ham for the sole purpose of playing in the CL, he could wreak havoc if he's having a good day.

Not found all the things yet, but I've spoken to my friend about it and he just said it doesn't make any sense. I'm sure it will come the end.

I think Drogba is the clear winner this week...

Watching the MOTD2 highlights of the Liverpool game, Birmingham should've demolished them, the only reason they didn't was because of Reina. Trust Reina to make a howler for Spain, but go on to have the game of his life for Liverpool.
