I actually thought he looked imperious before that pass... was really impressive display he was putting int, then it was a case of rebuilding his confidence. didnt do too badly afterwards... but the damage was done and this sides confidence is brittle to say the least. confidence and game time will fix it.

Great result... we kept playing for the 160 minutes... Defending across the league has been trash the last couple of weeks, we're no exception but as opposed to last season when scoring was an issue, we're now scoring so that's that sorted.

Was thinking that we're dropping all this money on future potential but the model theyre using is a permanent growth model. X,Y,Z players will be worth 10/15 million more in five years time etc... Im struggling to think of a youngster bought in the Roman era that went on to huge success. Hazard probably... Do remember Di Santo for example was 16 million at the time. A wigan favourite from what I remember. Very few clubs have got away with the approach we're trying. I dont think the manager is the problem. I said very early on this season, Clearlake out. Still glad Silva isn't in the starting line up. A world class player in our midst but cant stay fit. Given the emergence of Gusto, not surprised Reece is being linked away and im not sure the club will miss him given the last two and a half years, he's hardly played. played 8 league games all season this year. played 16 league games last season played 26 league games 21/22 played 32 20/21 played 24 19/20 missed one game 18/19 in the championship. I hate to say it, we need to cash in on him and he needs to move to Spain or Italy where his body will be suited to the slower less physical league - his body just cant compete in the premiership. his injuries are getting worse as he gets older. He either takes on Ryan Giggs physio, stops buying sports cars every month or moves to a warmer climate and less intense leagues. Seeing him leave will be like the last light on the Italic switching off. I'll be gutted but if we can rob a club of 65/70 million...

I guess we'll never know how Gilmour would have developed at Chelsea. Which is a shame because he's more than holding his own in a Brighton team that has struggled this season. If any manager has our fully available squad - think results would have been different. Our midfield needs power, it clearly takes a toll on players and rotation is needed. We haven't had the rotation so actually kudos to Caicedo/ Enzo/ Gallagher on their fitness and stamina, unlike others, they have all shown they're physically capable of staying fit and being in our plant room. Anyhow... back to the premier league... life is good again even if our results might not be.
