  1. Perhaps CFC have had to move on most players signed under Roman because the deals they signed under the previous club administration were dodgy. I mean we are currently being investigated for multiple breaches of FFP... Perhaps the new owners had to mitigate previous risks hence why they have taken the club in the direction they have. We were owned by the Russian state and look what happens to anyone who opposes it. Give it a few years and we'll all be in trenches of Eastern Europe. Happy days ahead.
  2. going to try a positive post. Excellent character from the players to get the draw from defeat in a London derby where one team is in a relegation battle. that bottle and grit wasn't there six months ago and we would have folded... sadly, we need much more of that. So here's to hoping the players have turned a corner with guts and determination. Will take the point.
  3. I still say in as reading all the negative nappy wearing supporters crying is more entertaining than watching Chelsea at the minute. Keep it up guys, im sure you'll get your wish to see Gallagher and poch leave. Then we can reset 12 months behind us and start all over again. Rinse and repeat. yawn...
  4. I feel better now that I've read in hundreds of different ways how Gallagher is S**t... I'll hand it to the angry fans - it's seriously brilliant how you're able to rehash the same one idea multiple ways... bravo.
  5. Still a better side without him in it... we were conceding goals with him in the side, so nothing has changed and our build up was excessively slow because of him, his range of passing is to the full backs and not pass into midfield to bypass the press. So Basically, if Chelsea win, you lot will complain that we didnt win well enough and players weren't good enough, draw, poch should be sacked, Gallagher is S**t, players this and that aren't good enough. Loose and you all all descend into hysteria and faux outrage. This forum should be renamed "poch out abuse Gallagher forum" far more apt name than the shed end.
  6. don't get the hype around De Zerbi. His tactics have been found out this season. When Bholey's fetish club get beaten they get walloped. If we win the game in hand we are one point behind De Zerbi's side. Last season we finished how many points behind his team, think it was 18... It could be argued that this is an improvement right or has De Zerbi been found out or his team not performed as well? Great mid table manager... goes to united and he is still a good mid table manager. Moves to us, good mid table manager... it's not like they've had an injury crisis like ours to deal with. Leads me onto the next type of manager... I dont see him as a man to get us turning up into the top four let alone challenging for a title. Happy to change perspectives on him should he get the fetish club past roma. Not won anything with any club outside of Romania. Sarri - Sarri ball. Fans turned on him after we got walloped like a De Zerbi team - we all know how that went down with match day fans. "F**k sariball" chants... Conte... the man child... nuff said. Toxic manager. got found out tactically after winning the title. Was crap at spurs even before his implosion. Emre, sitting 4th in the table but when they get beaten they also get walloped. (space behind full backs see how we exploited it at their place) didnt do well at a big club like Arsenal... who were in a similar position to us now when he took over club wises Remember Scolari's football? didnt last long... It has also happened to Poch this season with us. (think Liverpool away) Guarantee, if we got Emry, De Zerbi, and we get walloped, the calls from fans will be the same, sack the manager. Basically, some fans won't be happy until Poch is sacked - it's as simple as that. Can the club keep affording to pay manager release clauses?
  7. Does Gallagher's goal justify the substitution and tactical switch? I think so, given Poch has made some absolutely bizarre subs to close out games, I'd say he probably got this one right given the result. Kudos due and shows he's perhaps capable of making game winning subs? Hope it continues. Back to the league and hope we continue the momentum.
  8. Sanchez at fault for the first goal last night. A terrible decision to play short... Disasi also had a brain fart. Which is where Petrovic is assured, he'll go long when he has to.
  9. Only at Chelsea does a win get met by supporters calling for the manager to be sacked... I hope the angry mob put their feet up and raise a glass to CFC and chill for the rest of the evening... A win is a win in cup football and to be enjoyed.
  10. Move on. He isn't coming back. If he did Im not sure he could work with the players nor the management. He won us the big cup as did bobby D, no one saw that coming either but probably the entire forum would agree getting rid of Di Mateo was the right thing to do... the way people still pine for tuchel around here, despite the club finishing up 19 points off City in back to back seasons. The two will be forever in Chelsea folk law so well done to them both. Wouldn't change it for all the world as both nights were great memories. Thanks for those... I then moved on. He, like Conte, Jose, and many other managers just aren't long term managers... 2/3 seasons tops (bar Mainz 05 where he lasted 5 years) and everywhere he goes he has had fallings out with either the board or players and something happened between him and the board at Chelsea. It's a well trodden path of new ownership sacking managers after buying clubs. I for one cant be critical of the way our new ownership is trying to set up the club, theyre making mistakes, but if they want to throw billions at a club, they get to say who runs it regardless of us fans. It was the same when Roman came in the first time, sacked Ranieri and got in Jose and a lot of Roman's early signings weren't always great... sound familiar? But at the time our new money could buy whatever it wanted as we were being run by a benefactor and we were ahead of other clubs getting state sanctioned owners. The game has changed, to compete you have to make changes as the club is doing. It will either work or fall apart and another conglomerate or nation will buy the club. Then the changes will start again. that's modern day football. Wish Tuchel all the best in his employment as a manager, but given his problems dealing with either players or management, I dont think he's an elite coach, certainly very lucky, like bobby D, and very good at spotting opportunities and taking them. Living in the past in football is for nostalgia only. Tonights game is all that matters, then the next one. Dont like it, dont watch, think you can do better than the clubs owners, buy the club and run it your way (or bring fans together to buy it and we can be a fan run club). Memories are great, the good and the bad like Terrys missed penalty or being hammered by united in the 90's in cup finals or the numerous league and cup success we've had. The ups and downs of following a club are what make the memories.
  11. finished level on points with Dortmund last season, won title on goal difference (dortmund would have won the title had they won their last game of the season), signed one of footballs best strikers Harry Kane and has been sacked (moved on in the summer) after losing the dressing room inside of 12 months at Bayern. "eLiTe"
  12. Leeds will probably score if Bamford is playing... But we can score more than them...
  13. Wish him nothing but the best in his recovery... We miss him and his winning mentality.
  14. I read this and just thought back to pre roman days with the tinker man. He essentially built the side that went on to dominate English football for a decade. Jose came in and installed a turbo charged winning mentality at all costs. Im not sure, as when he signed, poch was a winning manager, but I did think he is capable, over a couple of seasons of building or shaping the side into something decent, certainly capable of challenging for titles. Is he the right guy to take us back to our former successes? Again not sure, but I have seen improvements in the way we play, from the way we retain possession for large parts of games to seeing players grow with the responsibility of wearing the blue. It's the business end of the season, top six is achievable with a run of wins. Nows the time to shout and cheer at the bridge and let the boys know come rain or shine, win or loose, we'll support them. Again, how it was pre roman days.
  15. Honestly think the players have a confidence issue in front of goal. Gallagher can do it, he can score, but probably hasn't scored enough to convince himself he can. Honestly think there is confidence issue with the squad. Simply put, we need to be braver at spanking the ball towards goal from outside the box or making better decisions to have a pop. Here's an interesting stat:
  16. Crespo was a next level player. Sadly, his wife or family didnt settle in UK and we were robbed of his talent. That was the wider point I was making about Argentinians in the Premier League. Think we just have to be patient with Jackson. He has some really good attributes and will improve and be better next season. He needs confidence... probably better understanding with the midfielders who dont really supply him. If I were Poch, I'd drop Gallagher into the engine room ahead of Enzo, try Nkunku in his position. Willing to give Nkunku benefit of the doubt given his injuries but if we have another S**t show with him next year movie him on in January. Personally think It may help Gallaghers goal scoring if he is arriving into the the box late wouldn't mind seeing it. Anyhow, next game coming up shortly. Let's all get behind the players and manager and make the bridge rock on home games. Im sure the players will respond positively. remember the away fans at palace and Disasi? we need more scenes like that. end of.
  17. Grow up and move on. wow... sorry your having a bad day baby... kiss kiss...
  18. Told me I should go do Poch's PR... you know what. Jog on in your anger... swim in it, love it... it's a game mate. grow up.
  19. Klopp is free in the summer, why dont you go and jerk off into a hankie and pray he becomes our manager.
  20. Poor man.... Sorry you make yourself feel better posting angry rants online. good luck with it...
  21. WTF? what a miserable post... It is hilarious that an alternative opinion to your sack everyone approach to football triggers you into an online rage? Im having a good chuckle. Perhaps you should take a walk outside and get some fresh air... It's football, get some bloody perspective and stop being so angry. Sorry you cant take a defeat on the chin - the clubs changed circumstance, the fact we're no longer Roman's team or a top four side. May I offer you to try the mute or block button or go and get some counselling with your anger issues? the club has changed, can you?
  22. Enjoy it... Not for me and Xg or xA isn't a very good metric = gibberish.
  23. Sometimes you take small positives from defeats, I thought Gallagher ran himself into the ground but this Gusto lad was absolutely sensational yesterday, an absolute beast, smashed it. and puts everyone in his back pocket. Made Dias look like a schoolboy. I think we're going to have a hard time keeping hold of him in summer or January. Exactly the sort of player Barca/Madrid/PSG/city will look at. thankfully he's a blue...
