So it's Pochettino...and now officially gone!
I really had to think about it... But I remembered, 0-0 v Milan at the bridge. sat west stand, remember watching Maldini... We had a fantastic side and Ambrosetti played for us. Interestingly, it was Shevchenkos debut season for Milan, wise was our midfield general, had a stonker of a game with Deschamp... think that's the only time I saw him. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sport/football/champions_league/448544.stm

Liverpool vs Chelsea (PL) Wed 31st Jan 24 20:15 GMT
Exactly the sort of game we'll turn up in.

Christopher Nkunku to Chelsea
Christopher Nkuwho? what a pointless signing he has been. Club should cut losses on all the injured players this summer... Imagine if we hadn't signed these crocks, we wouldn't be counting the pennies or considering selling the fancy china.

I dont remember seeing Ambrosetti play for us, but I'll put that down to a middle aged early onset self described memory disorder or simple mind erasure...

You taint my memory of gronkjear getting us into the champions league ahead of Liverpool. Fine memory of a fine player... cough cough...

Ian Maatsen
KDB and the Norwegian genetic experiment would have been monsters in any league. rudiger was already an international and playing for Roma for two seasons before us. But fair point

Academy talent who wasn't wanted at Burnley or Chelsea, finds home in Bundesliga. Good for him, hope it works out, didnt look likely to happen here at Chelsea, a shame. He may come back and walk into the side but I doubt it. The Bundesliga is two steps off the Premiership so I expect any youngster with drive and ambition to do well there. Harry Kane is making Lewandowski look second rate with his scoring, Werner, Havertz, struggled to adapt from there as has Sancho who has gone back to an easier league to look like a world beater again.

Who should be our 1st choice keeper?
I was looking at out last few buys... but totally get the point. totally loved Cudicini, great stopper. 🙂 the miserable Madrid keeper discounted for me despite him being very good. I suppose I should have asked, can Petrovic reach their standards? He is starting to make big saves and keep us in games.

Who should be our 1st choice keeper?
75 million for Kepa, 30 million for mendy, 25 million for Sanchez, 12.5 million for Petrovic... Which one looks the best between the sticks?

BlueCo buy Chelsea FC
Until the broadcast bubble pops, clubs make most wedge through TV rights, TV revenue absolutely dwarfs match day revenue. Fans going to games are simply there to increase atmosphere and boost match day revenues. I'd simply point to the shenanigans of Coventry city as a reason not to let owners get what they want. Any suggestions on where to move to because most sites will be out of London.

CPO are club protectors. As vile a man as Ken bates became, he did that one thing right in stopping property developers selling us up and moving on. To the point billionaires like Todd and Roman had to work with developing the ground... Others will explain better why Battersea and Earls court fell through, Battersea power station would have been immense, fully wanted it, but the bridge is home and the place to be every other Saturday so happy..

Conor Gallagher
Im calling you out for it because it's consistent, dull and repetitive. It just avoids the reality of the club and where we are and find ourselves. I also think the guy is an excellent footballer. You just dont rate him, which puts you at odds with all managers who have worked with him including the England one. I just hate people getting on the back of players who deliver.. Gallager has delivered and stood up for the club when, frankly, no one else has.. Perhaps Palmer another exception during a really difficult transition of ownership. You may get your wish and he gets fed up with fans bashing him like mount did and run down his contract. Id rather he remained at the club because if we're talking about player development, Gallagher is top of that tree for me.

Conor Gallagher
Mate, you come across like a fat grumpy middle age w**ker given the repeated sh*tposting towards a Chelsea player who also represents England. Call me what you like, but I won't be piling on Chelsea players, I'll say if they've had a bad game, but I dont have the time to waste calling em out daily over and over again saying the same thing. Dont you get bored?
-
Conor Gallagher
You're spot on, I dont have to read it but when it is literally the only thing he posts, repeatedly saying the same thing over and over time after time - it is actually bullying. It would be harrresment in a work environment and wouldn't be tolerated, and it's almost identical to the criticism mount got, the same sort of criticism that drove Sarri out of the club... Poor old Scott has a young man who plays for his favourite club and for England running around living rent free in his head... anyone would think Connor spurned his advances on some sunny cobham heath... Trust me, im not the one who is taking it too much to heart. 😉

Conor Gallagher
Typical bully, Doesnt like it when people stick up for others and call you out for being a fat middle aged w**ker with anger issues. Take this advice, grow up, grow some nuts, and stop complaining like a child. 🙂 Sorry the player you like piling on grabbed two assists last night. I'm going to follow Chelsea not your gut. 😉 see my middle finger - im moving on.

Conor Gallagher
If an angry man falls over in a woods, does he make a sound? Perhaps im not at the limit of my cognitive capacity like you are where a footballer playing badly is therefore open to constant abuse. Im sorry your football career ended when you pissed your pants that fell down around your ankles playing in goal led to falling over and breaking you legs and brain when the big boy ran towards you with a ball at his feet. Funny, I bet you dont like people on here calling you an abusive bully, pointing you out as one, yet, you're fine to dish it out. Go for a long walk, take in some air, Chelsea will be here when you get back, unless you fall over in the woods again and no one will hear your rant.

Welcome to Chelsea Ben Chilwell
chilwell who? guy has been beset with injury, not sure he'll stay injury free either. Move on in summer. Bring in or promote someone who is capable of playing football consistently over a season. If we dont see Rece James again this season, I'd be pushing him out the club too

Conor Gallagher
Another day another post trashing a CFC player. Honestly, why do you wake up every morning wondering how you can have a pop at a footballer on an internet forum. We know you think he's sh*t, not good enough, not talented enough, blah blah blah... you even ridicule people for wanting to bring comparisons to the front. I have seen shades of Madrid, Kante, and Lampard in his game this season. Doesnt mean Im comparing him to them, Just there are elements of his game that are there for all to see except a middle aged angry man wanting to trash a young player at a club he claims to support. Go sing "F*uck sari ball" in a field by yourself mate.

Really, the ghost of Jose past haunting the club again? not sure he'd find the youth facilities at Cobham. Big fat no from me despite his legendary status.
-
Levi Colwill
Think he's done exceptionally well. Not a rampaging player at left back but has an eye for a pass and is developing into a cracking premier league defender. Long may his form continue.

Carney Chukwuemeka
Let me get my wife beater on and grab a six pack...

Raheem Sterling signs for Chelsea
Sterling plays best when others are playing well. Im not sure we can hand on heart say we've been playing well. Sterling carries a threat. He's been close to the game speeds and is there or thereabouts for us, scoring goals hasn't been the problem and sterling hasn't been bad at all. He is inconsistent, I'll give him that and frustrating but he runs for 90 and is always hunting and running. Hope we see more from him second half of season end product wise, hope to see more from others too and goals would be a massive help from Gallagher. Everyone can improve, including us fans to let these guys try and continue to forge a team spirit and better results. he's a bit marmite round here, but im happy he starts for us.
-
Conor Gallagher
There were fans who gave Lampard stick and he did what CG is doing and knuckling down. Not going to compare CG and lamps, but both had the same work ethic and worked at improving their game, different types of players in different times. If he is headless chicken, he wins a hell of a lot in the opponents half. He isn't fashionable, doesnt court headlines, gets on with playing. So much to like and get behind as a player and he's one of our own. Same criticism of Mount who helped win us the Champions league, it's just been switched onto CG. Great player and Im properly happy he's having an outstanding season for us. The goals and assists will come when everyone is on the same wavelengths. Just need time and more support from fans on forums and in the ground.

Its a results business and things are looking better... Credit where it's due.

Djordje Petrovic signs for Chelsea
He still looks like he's suffering from imposter syndrome. He needs to start believing he's playing for Chelsea and that he is as good as any keeper in the premiership. some big saves yesterday, it is no surprise we are looking a lot more solid at the back. Big games coming up, let's see how he gets on. He won us 3 points yesterday
