A villa fan was telling me the other week he's the most talented youth prospect he can remember seeing at the club in 20 years and he was going to play a lot for them this season.

I had no idea they'd even consider selling him let alone our interest.

I think he refused to sign a contract and he has only 1 year left on his deal

yes just checked and his deal was until July 2023

if RLC goes to Leicester he could be his replacement

Real and Barcelona were also interested. 

Maybe he saw an easier path to our midfield vs those two.

Seems like a daft move from the player's perspective, he surely isn't going to get the game time that he craves here.

Great prospect for us though.
