RLC isn't infront of anyone.

I'd actually say Chuk is being brought in to be what we thought RLC could be before his injuries.

i think he will replace RLC in the squad

Chukwuemeka & Gallagher will get the playtime that RLC got last season (40 games), Gallagher probably getting some more game time of the 2

We need a fresh midfield come next year. Better to get some of the young 'uns in a season before. That's why I'm all for FdJ if possible.

With Kante missing half the season on a regular basis as well as being out of contract at the end of the season and with Jorginho out of contact at the season as well it makes sense to start bringing in some new midfielders. 
 

Next season we'll have Kovacic, Gallagher and Chukwuemeka. Maybe we'll even sign Rice at last

peg leg kante would still be one of the best in the league! If you've seen him play live, You have to rub your eyes to believe it!

I think hes got a couple seasons in him yet, Niggling injury spells but to be expected with how much pressure he puts on his pegs!

But yeah def need creative mid or 2, We lack a real ball player to ping in balls like sexy fab use to, Wish jorgz would do that but it seems a pipedream

he has proven with Aston Villa last season that he is good enough to play in the PL (maybe not 30 games and 90 minutes every time but 15 here, 20 minutes there and a couple of starts, especially with 5 subs we don't really have someone who can drive from the midfield like this kid can, except Kovacic who's probably a starter more often than not)

every time i watched Aston Villa play and he came on something happened and he was always very dangerous and exciting to watch
