Given Bellingham snr is the agent, it is not unlikely that it was a quid pro quo, perhaps a commission owed to the Bellinghams from Jude's transfer not unlike how Chelsea signed Thorgan and Kylian Hazard.

I agree but Dortmund will give Jobe all the tools he needs to succeed in the hope some mug pays €80m for him in 2yrs. It’s easier to convince some to pay €80m for Jobe than Chuks for €50m with an injury record, and who couldn’t crack it at a top club.

Really liked this guy, 100% there’s a player in there. If dortmund can keep him fit, they’ll flip a decent profit in 2/3 years. Good luck to him.

Had very high hopes for him at Chelsea. Had he been able to stay fit I think he’d be a better fit in our current midfield than Enzo.
