Looks very good indeed. Should be in the squad next season. Read he can play a variety of left sided roles and even centre back ?

I know he's player full back, wing back and even CM but isn't he like 5'6? Think he's struggle at CB

He's about two inches shorter than Cucurella, who looks way too short to play at centre back himself LOL

Also despite his class going forward he still makes a lot of defensive errors according to my Burnley supporting friend.

LWB definitely his calling.

To be expected with his age i suppose, hope to see him and Colwill in the squad for next season. Sadly we're quite stacked at LWB and certainly don't want to see Chilly leave

He also seems convinced Burnley are getting him permanently, hopefully he's wrong.

Agree re Colwill, it usually drives me nuts when people pull the KDB/Salah card whenever we sell an U25 but it would be pretty apt if we let this guy go.

Yeah  it was , the post said Maasten was good up against Mahrez, and saying Citeh should look at signing him. I don't think the poster knew he was on loan from us  though.

Think he has a year left on his contract, and with City after a LB or 2 I can actually see Pep going after him.

Glad they made a bid though. If we can resist the temptation to balls this up then hopefully we can get some money through the door anyway.

Issue is I don’t think he is been bought to be played as a “traditional” fullback. I can also see Burnley adopting the 3 CBs & giving him the full reign to do the damage on the left flank. 4 goals & 6 assists with 4 MOTM performances at 21 from fullback is a brilliant return. He just needs 2 very good seasons in the PL, and I can see him making the step up to a Top 6 team. City? Maybe.

One of the ones i don't mind us selling, we have an abundance of LB talent.

Who are ahead of him apart from Chiwell and Cucurella? Chiwell won't last the full season without breaking down a few times, Cucurella still yet to prove himself. Hall is not a natural LB despite a few games there, think the lad should at least get a go in pre-season.
