  1. Looks like people getting emotionally attached to the coach again. Never should happen at Chelsea. 2 to 3 seasons max at Chelsea irregardless how well he does. There’s bound to be something. Player power, clash with the owners, fams impatience, all that lot. Tired of going through this cycle but this has become routine here. No emotion is justified again. He is just another staff. I remembered everyone being amazed by Potter first few days.
  2. Adaptability and getting the best out of any situations and set of players.
  3. People talk about unlimited funds and wealth at City and for Pep. most don’t realise how hard it is to consistently perform and be at the top and motivate your teams to play a certain way. Pep does that consistently and sustain those performances and motivation year after year. just ask Klopp, Mou, Tuchel how difficult doing that means. Even with money.
  4. I don’t care about anything else. But Pochettino need to make us play like City now or prime Spurs when he was there. Direct, creative and penetrative. No other style matters. Pep style wins hands down no matter what anyone says.
  5. “Strong favourite” where realistically there’s only one decent option out there with the rest dropping out. Todd flatters himself too much.
  6. the amount of time needed to conclude this feels like we are interviewing a manager to last more than two years
  7. This will be the match that Pochettino walks away and not want to have anything to do with us
  8. So is it official already or is Todd still mucking around?
  9. I don’t get why people are asking for Jose. We all know it’s going to be shorter term with Jose before we repeat the whole cycle again. Why not get it right and tame a gamble instead of going full circle to Jose. Again. Yes again for the third time! just hire Pep already. There isn’ta more successful coach whichever way you see it.
  10. We are “following the process” and “doing our utmost due diligence” as if a long queue of elite qualified managers are desperate to coach us. face it Todd! You don’t have a lot of credible options left! Get on with it and don’t act like you can behave arrogantly and still have top quality elite managers accepting working with you and coaching us. You have made Chelsea the most undesirable club to coach in a long time not seen since Roman times.
  11. Agree with all this and recognise Pochettino is a top coach and will be open to have him here unlike 98% of Chelsea fans. but also like to understand exactly what happened at PSG? With the best talents and Messi I’d say he underachieved. anyway, he’s going to withdraw from consideration for the role. Nothing exciting.
  12. I don’t know but I get a feeling that James and Mount should be on that list. together with Pulisic, RLC, Koulibaly, Cucurella, Ziyech, Havertz, Kepa, Felix, Sterling. players who consistently time and time and time again deceived to deliver or show anything everytime they are trusted to play.
  13. Is PEA really that bad that we keep persisting playing with no strikers?
  14. Will it be a first for an interim coach to be sacked?
  15. I hope he loses so he comes back if Todd got some sense.
  16. Mudryk was good. still can’t score or create any real chances. congrats Todd.
  17. So we now ask of Lamps to do what Tuchel did winning the CL when he took over mid season after a messed up season left by Lamps. Ermmmmm…
  18. We ran out of new coach to appoint that we are now recycling our old coach.
  19. Unfortunately this reeks of bad management by the owners and it leaves a bad taste. why go one full circle from lampard to Tuchel and back to lamps again. It does seem tho it means we may already have a manager secured who’s only coming next season.
  20. Luis Enrique is more experienced? havent managed a club since 2017 only real experience is a club with MSN that probably is on auto pilot with Xavi and Iniesta pulling the strings and also Pep legacy and style well absorbed by the team. why is he out of job again?
  21. With the best forwards football ever seen in MSN? Not that hard
  22. We are known for the new manager bounce effect. This lot can certainly be boosted enough to care and get deep in the CL with the right manager.
  23. I struggle to understand some of the logic here. How is Enrique elite while Zidane, Pochettino or Nagelsmann aren’t? enrique had probably the best ever Barca team to work with. Same argument against Zidane.
  24. By appointing another coach in his place is already a breach of contract by Bayern. The contract is torn up since then and nothing to speak of except compensation and damages on Bayern for not honouring the contract.
